i was on Buffalo this series but after watching game 4 ive pulled a 180 cause Boston is hot and Buffalo will just struggle on offense again tonight. Goaltending is a push and without their leading goal scorer there is no way they should be favored

But Boston's offense hasn't convinced us either, isn't it? Even without Vanek, Buffalo at +115 (now +111) is worth the shot. But I have to agree with you when saying they shouldn't be favored in this game.

Buffalo scores more without Vanek in the lineup than Boston does without Savard. Buffalo continued to roll without him in the regular season thanks to good secondary scoring. This game is going to come down to who wants it more, and with the Sabres in danger of falling to 3-1 in the series that should be them.

What a terrible breakdown of discipline on the part of the Sabres. They should have had the game in the bag up 2 goals late in the 2nd period, but continued to play with fire and take dumb penalties all the way through the 2nd OT period. They really need Vanek back in the next game to have a chance now.

Buffalo just don't match up well against Boston. Buffalo are too small and Boston dominate them physically and win most of the 1 on 1 battles. It only gets worse for Buffalo tonight. Torres in injured and out, and 5'3 130 pound Nathan Gerbe is his replacement.
