I took under 5.5 (+110). I don't anticipate many shots getting past Kipper and Mezin.

I was reading that the Belarus team plays for the same team in the KHL. That team is not bad at all. So this may be a risky bet so I'm going to keep it small just for fun.

Been reading up on Belarus hockey and they look very underated in this spot. Coach Zakharov's assistants are former Soviet great Andrei Khomutov and Dave Lewis, formerly head coach of the Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins. They have 4 Nhl players including the Kos

yn brothers from Montreal. The roster was picked by head coach Mikhail Zakharov, who was hired by the federation last month to succeed Glen Hanlon. Last weekend he coached Belarus for the first time in two exhibition games, losing to Slovakia 4-2 and defeating Switzerland 2-1, in overtime.

Anyways at +120 and 2.5 goals I am going to take a shot at them.

The line is skyrocketing, everyone on Finland. I am going to wait and get a better price. My book usually follows pinnacle's lines so I may get +125 maybe even +130, I would hop on 3 goals in a heartbeat. Pinnacle line is +2.5 +130...

this is tough. i am leaning towards the over but i dont know if Finland can really score. i dont see Belarus getting more then 1 or 2 goals. if Finland can manage 4-5 goals then i would definately be on the over. maybe i will just go small on the over.

Kipper can be good or he can be pretty bad. you never know how he will play, he might pitch a shutout or he might let in 2-3 easy ones.

does anyone have Belarus and Finland stats from years past? do they score alot of goals?

I don`t know why but I don`t have a ton of faith in Finland covering the spread in this one.

They play a pretty tight D game and this one could be closer than expected.

this is a different Belarus team, new coaching staff, etc. They will be better than people think.

Belarus will struggle to score. The injuries hurt them more on offense.

I see this as 4-1 or 3-1 Fin victory. Too close for action.

i wasnt saying that they are bad. i just dont know how many goals they can score and how many goals Finland can score. for example last night i had no doubt that Russia could put up 5-6 goals and there was the added bonus of two Latvia goals, i thought they would score at least one so over was safe.

I dont know if Finland and Belarus will just play it safe. could be a 3-2 game or somethin like that

Belarus is playing its backup goalie, so I'm not very optimistic about my under bet anymore. To be fair, the guy's made some pretty good saves so far. Hopefully he can keep things manageable, as I don't expect Belarus to score much (if at all).
