EDMONTON at LA: Don Logan says, "Moneyline or Puckline, suckas???"
Oilers +260 ML seems more profitable than +1.5 PL at -110. Gotta be one or the other on this game. Oilers offense fell off a cliff after the holidays, but Comrie's back & Oilers haven't been far off from winning last few games. Even that nutty game in Phoenix the other nite when both teams played like turds could've gone either way despite the final score. Meanwhile Kings are a glorified .500 team with an 11-2 OT record. They don't score many goals themselves, and it wouldn't shock me if they pull the upset in regulation. Oilers moneyline, baby!!!

I like Don's thinking he just doesnt buy these teams like Coyotes, Kings and maybe av's as being any different than in the past. I agree i still think LA is full of shit and so is phoenix.

So you are going to take a team that jus lost last night, is on a 4 game losing streak, is 7-19-2 on the road, and has absolutely no chance of getting into the playoffs, against a team that is battling for the #4 spot in the playoffs. Yep, that makes a lot of sense.

The Oilers are also without their top center and blue liner.

However, before the fall, the Oilers were contending for a playoff spot. It was a big fall. LOL

Yeah I just don't see how anyone is betting on Edmonton against a playoff team on the road isn't desperate or stupid.

Kings will be lucky to make bottom 4 spot when it's all said & done, but nevermind that. Your value assessment on this game is severely flawed, my friend.

They don't score many goals themselves? They're one of the highest scoring teams in the league. I'm not betting on thegame myself, but I honestly can't see Edmonton winning.

They hung a few big numbers on Wings, Ducks, & Leafs last few games, but regulation goals this season they're just average. Oilers offense was average for 3 months until it trainwrecked.

Oilers are +260, so they're obviously going to lose this game most of the time. But those odds are ridiculous against LA.

All I know is that Phoenix has the fourth-highest number of points in the league at this point and LA is No. 5, so someone on those teams is doing something right.

Gotta take a stab at an NHL team that is +260. Any time I see that in the NHL I gotta play it. Any team can beat any team on any given night in hockey.

Geeze Don, don't flatter yourself too much. It was one lucky pick. Good job though, I guess.
