Islanders are hot. they won 3 straight and are 7-2-1 in the last 10. Devils are 6-4 and lost 2 straight. Devils also lost Elias, an important part of the team. I would only go with the Devils if they were at -110 range. at -140 i dont see any value.

what do you guys think about Buf/Pho under 5 tomorrow? both teams have solid D. i know Phoenix has been scoring quite a bit lately but i think they will cool off especially against good D. I think NJ game was a bit unusual considering devils defense, Marty just wasnt in form.
i would be way more comfortable if it was at 5.5 though. any thoughts?Comment -

Nashville -1.5 +170. No matter who plays in net for the Preds, Ellis or Rinne, neither will give up more than a goal. Both are on fire. Nashville has no problem scoring goals, and will do this tomorrow against T.O. Jason Arnott will also be back for tomorrow's game while Leaf's defence will struggle again without Komisarek. The Preds are due for a show at home and Monday will be their night. Preds win 4-1.Comment -

If I were the NHL commissioner, I'd throw a little $1 million fine at the Devils for mailing it in against the Islanders. It's one thing to get beat if you're actually trying. But for one of the best teams in the league to get outshot by one of the worst, 41-16 (with a few minutes to play at the moment), is an embarrassment. If they weren't going to show up they should have saved themselves the bridge and tunnel tolls and just stayed in New Jersey.Comment -

I lose games almost every day. That's to be expected. But if you want to tell me the Devils gave their best effort, or even close to it, I would tell you that with a similar performance, they'd have 0 wins so far this season. The Devils were outshot by 26 and to me that says the team wanted to do anything except play a game this afternoon. That was a fraudulent effort.Comment -
