I am still in total shock about the Caps losing. Blowing a 3-1 lead with game 7 at home, just WOW. I really thought they would bring their A game in game 7 and find a way to get a few by Halak. Halak started off the series shaky but once Ovechkin made the comment to the press about "his hand was shaking when he grabbed his water bottle." that seemed to piss off Halak and put him on crack. That is why you keep your mouth shut during playoffs about the other team

DG, I am not sure why you would think Det wins tonight, coming off a game 7, visiting a rested team that played well in an easier series. Other than the history of them choking, (just like Jacques Martin had never won a game 7 before) I cannot see the Sharks losing tonight. However, Habs winning was a shocker as well.

Yeah it was quite impressive. It ruined a lot of my playoff pools but I didn't even care as I love seeing upsets in the playoffs.

Agree, this is a fact but Pens have a totally different approach in offense, they have a more constructed offensive. On the other side, their goalie Fleury hasn't shown any big play as other goalies (Boucher, Rinne, Bryzgalov). I believe in a high scoring game.

Total was 5 before the game started. Nice with a 2-0 Boston lead Boston will tighten up defensively for sure.
