Hummmm, the more I look at the series and the more I think there won't be an easy one ... except for the Caps unfortunately as I'm for the Canadiens

And when you look at the first results, 2 "favorites" already lost at home. These series are promising great hockey play and I won't adventure betting on series winners.

Yup I like the first period over in this one. Caps should come out flying and get a quick one but the Habs will respond. I think like 2-1 Washington through 1 or maybe 1-1 type of 1st period result.

Pretty confident. I think the Caps come out strong and MTL responds if the Caps get a quick one. I see a 2-1 type Caps lead through 1.

i must be the only one who thinks Van/LA will go over 5.5.. i think this game is a great match up and we could see both teams getting 2-3 goals,3-3 or 3-2 (with empty net goal to push it over 5.5)..

as much as i love my canucks they just dont play shutdown hockey they are all Offense this year... DG what about Van/LA over 1.5 1st cant u see this being a 1-1 game after the 1st?

Little late to give you my take now but the reason I took the over 1.5 (1st) instead was I figured the Caps would come out hard and I was guessing the play would slow down a bit in the 2nd and the Habs would try to play a more defensive game and stay close and hope to sneak out a win late.

I definitely like the 1st period over better as the under was 3-1 in the season series this year but 3-1 for the over in the 1st period. I can see some fireworks early but then both teams tighten up D in the 2nd and 3rd.

1st period overs are still pretty high risk plays and are far from locks so I didn't go too nuts on this one. Plus with Halak for MTL there was that possibility of him stoning the Caps in the 1st.

Thanks man and I really like Vancouver to open strong on home ice as they were one of the most dominant teams on home ice this season and played the Kings well at home.

LOL I think I am going to lay off the series bets for now and watch how all the game 2's play out first. It's tough to come back from a 2-0 series deficit, especially when dropping the first two at home. With that being said I think the majority of the favorites rebound tonight and tie the series up at 1.
