LOL yeah always nice when you are 1 away from a chop at the worst. Yup I am home now, had two great weeks in Mexico but I am happy to be home. Sounds like you are having a nice long trip, how long are you travelling for?

Although the Flyers have a few significant injuries they are still solid up front with the likes of Carter, Hartnell and Richards. The main reason I like this game so much is because of the Flyers absolute dominance over the Isles. They are 10-0 in the last 10 meetings, including 5-0 in Long Island during that stretch. Philly is currently on a 3 game losing streak equaling their longest slide of the year so I like them to rebound tonight.

BUF vs PHI Over 5.5 (-120) $120 to win $100
Over is 12-3 in the last 15 meetings and 9-1-1 in the last 11 in Philly so the over in this one is a pretty obvious choice for me. Philly is returning home after a long road trip and I expect them to come out strong.

COL vs MIN Under 5.5 (-136) $136 to win $100
Colorado is 10-5 for the under on the road this season and Minnesota is 7-3 for the under at home. Under is 7-2-1 in the last 10 meetings. With Backstrom and Anderson expected to start the under looks good.

Not much time for a write-up but I feel this will be a high scoring game. Chicago has been on fire and with Hossa back and the Ducks starting to roll a bit I see a lot of goals in this one.

Well not the start to the day I wanted but there are some more games I like today.

NYR (-110) vs TB $220 to win $200
The Rangers are 4-0 in the last 4 vs the Lightning and 7-3 in the last 10 meetings. Although the Lightning are tough to beat in their own building I like their chances tonight. Rangers coach Tortorella returns to face his former team and although he downplays it he will be pumped up to stick it to his former club. Mike Smith will be in the pipes for TB and has struggled this season. Lundqvist is a rock for the Rangers, so they have a significant edge in my opinion.

ATL (-115) vs CAR $115 to win $100
Atlanta have been road warriors this season putting up an impressive 7-2-1 road record this season. Carolina needs no introduction, they have struggled all year long and I can't resist ATL at these odds. They are the better team and they should relish their opportunity to play against Manny Legace who has been average at best.

Time for some redemption tonight after I took a beating last night.

PHI (-110) vs ATL $110 to win $100
Philly absolutely has owned ATL's soul the last few years to a tune of 10-0 in the last 10 and 15-1-1 in the last 17 in ATL. PHI is 29-3-2 in the last 33, pure and utter domination. You have to go with the Flyers with these good odds.

BUF -1.5 (+140) vs CAR $100 to win $140
Carolina proved last night just how bad they can be blowing a 4-1 3rd period lead to the Thrashers. With the second leg of a back to back for CAR, the Sabres should feast on the Hurricanes at home tonight. Oh yeah Carolina is 0-9-1-2 on the road this year as well.

DET (-110) $110 to win $100
The Wings have lost 3 straight and been shut out in two straight games. Although this Wings team isn't as good as last year they are still a top 4 team in the West. The Wings haven't lost 4 straight all year and I see them stepping their game up tonight. The Wings have had success in STL with a record of 4-0 in the last 4 and 19-7-4 in the last 30. I have to go with DET with these solid odds tonight.

VAN -1.5 (+130) Over EDM $80 to win $100
Edmonton lost a top two forward for the season in Hemsky and with the Canucks fully healthy again I think the Oilers will struggle to find the net with just Penner basically leading the charge. VAN's last 4 wins over the Oilers have all been by 2 goals or more. VAN has been great at home all year and beat the Oilers 2-0 earlier this year on home ice.

The teams are a combined 31-18 for the under on the year and 19-9 for the under playing on one day's rest. Giguere looks to go again for ANA and has been hot as of late. PHO is one of the more defensive teams in the league and with Bryzgalov in net this should be a low scoring affair. PHO is 10-3 for the under on the road this year and ANA is 7-8 at home this season.
