Hi everybody. Im gonna start a thread and bet some hockey.
I will bet the swedish Elitserien and also some Hockeyallsvenskan and maybe NHL.

I will start with 100 units and my maximum bet will be 5 units.

Färjestad is a much better team than Skellefteå. Färjestad is a very good team at home and they should win this game pretty easily.
Färjestad win to 1.70 is a good play aswell.

AIK is the best play today. The odds on pinnacle is really high compared to other sites. Expekt got it at 1.65/-154.
Örebro advanced to hockeyallsvenskan this year and lost the season opener against Bofors with 6-2.
AIK is one of the best teams in the league. They have really high ambitious and i think they should win this with 2-3 goals.

I cant believe this. They had 3-0 after first period, but played awful in second and third. They had many chances to score 4-2 in empty net in the end.

Yes, they have an interresting team this season.
First period was really good.
But i dont know what they were doing in second and third!

They will have a much harder season now compared to last 1.

Malmö has lost their two first games of the season. But it has been two difficult and close games. They lost with 4-3 against AIK in a very tight game that could have gone either way. Malmö scored a goal that was incorrectly unallowed.
The second game they played Mora, one of the best teams in the leauge. The game ended 5-3 Mora after an empty net goal in the very last second. Malmö won the shots with 45-25 in this game and should have won if they wasnt so ineffective. Their goalie Jani Hurme did a pretty lame game aswell and I think that a normal day Jani Hurme would have done better.
Sundsvall is a lot worse than AIK and Mora.
Malmö shouldn't have any big problems with Sundsvall today. Im guessing 1-4,2-4,2-5 to Malmö.

WIN Malmö won 4-2.

I got a little lucky there with the empty net goal. But thats why there is so much value in handicap picks on hockey. If a team is down one goal in the last 1-2 minutes, they often pull the goalie. Which often means a goal and a 2 goal win for the other team.

Växjö Lakers and Almtuna IS are two pretty even teams, I think Växjö is a tiny bit better. Both of them are two really good teams at home, and not so good away. last season they played against eachother 5 times.

This season Almtuna has played 2 games. One at home against Västerås IK and one away against Troja Ljungby.
Västerås is a better team than Troja but Almtuna lsot against Troja and won against Västerås. All because of the home advantage.
Växjö has also played 2 games this season. one at home, which ended with a victory. And one away which ended with a loss.

I think that Växjö will win this game. It will be tight, so im not playing -1,5. But -1,5 is not a bad play today. But i prefer to play just win. I think under 5.5 is a good play aswell. My guess is 2-1, 3-1 or 3-2.

Asplöven is easily the best team in Divison 1 A.
Only 4 losses in 24 games last season. And the team is as good this year as they were last year.
Kalix is the worst team in this group.
2 wins out of 24 tries last year. And I dont think this season will be any different.
Asplöven won their season opener with 7-2 against a much better team than Kalix.
Asplöven wins 8-1?

Division 1
Trångssund - Huddinge 12:00
pick: Huddinge
odds: 1,25/-400

Huddinge was degraded to this league from Allsvenskan after the last season. They are now one of the three best teams in Divison 1.
And they want to get back to Allsvenskan right away.
Huddinge won the season opener with 6-0 and I dont see how they can lose this game either.

Sollefteå is one of the worst team in this group. Hudiksvall is one of the better.
Hudiksvall won their last game with 3-0 against Njurunda. They won the shot with impressive 55-15.
Hudiksvall should easily win.

terrible day, i can not believe it
Växjö had 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 but they let almtuna back in the game every time.
it ended 3-3.
Hudiksvall did their thing and won with 12-0.
Asplöven played bad but still won, 5-3.
Huddinge played 10 minutes in powerplay the last period without scoring.
Their goalie let 4 out of 20 shots through and they lost 4-3.
two plays, two lost.
down 7 units today.

Hv 71 -1 @ 1,862/-116, pinnacle. 4 units

-1 is as you all know, the money back if they win with 1 goal.

This is a very tight game.
I think Luleås chances for winning this one is 45%, the chances for X is 20% and the chances for Skellefteå is 35%.
Whats talking for Luleå tonight?
They have done better transfers than Skellefteå this season.
Luleå got three good offensive lines.
Skellefteå got 2 good offensive lines.
I think that Luleå's second best line is better than Skellefteå's best line.
Luleå got many players that can produce this season.
Luleå got the Abbots brothers.
They played eachother two times during the preseason. Luleå won both.

But.
Skellefteå got the homeadvantage.
Luleå have been having troubles against Skellefteå in Skellefteå last seasons.

Despite this, the odds 2.97 is good. It is very good. I would bet them if the odds were 2.40.
Pinnacle's odds on this game is higher than any other bookie.

But since it's a tight game. I only wager 2 units.
And because I dont know how much my heart is involved in this pick. Luleå is my favourite team. That's where i'm from

Linköping, one of the best teams this season. They did a good regular season last year and finished second.
Södertälje is one of the absolute worst team in the league. They finished 12th ouf 12 last season. But they won Kvalserien, so they wasn't degraded.
This year Linköping have been doing some really good transfers. Tony Mårtensson and Fredrik Norrena is the two best transfers.
They should win this pretty easily. The only reason i dont wager 4 or 5 units is their last game. Their season opener against hv71. They lost 6-2 after a bad game of their newly aquired keeper, Fredrik Norrena.
Hopefully they pull themselves together and wins tonight.

HV 71 - Djurgårdens IF
Pick: HV71 -1
Odds: 1,862/-116

HV71 is good. They are very good. 6-2 against Linköping was really impressive.
They have everything, a good goalie, good offensive players, good defensive players, tough bad guys and the leagues absolutely best power play.
HV71 is my pick for SM-gold this season. Frölunda could stop them. But not Djurgården.
Djurgården has lost their two best point-scorers. The replacement?
Two defensive skilled players.
Another lack in the team, is the goalkeepers. They have two pretty low-standard keepers and I think the one who gets to guard the net tonight, will have to do it really good. Cause HV71 will be offensive. Really offensive.
Why not -1,5?
Beacuse it's the first game of the season for Djurgården. I can't be sure on how good they are.
I'll go a little safe tonight with -1. But -1,5 is not a bad play either.

HV71 had 3-0. they had 7-5 with 2 mins left. It ended of course 7-6. push.
Dont know what the **** Linköping did, 2-1 Södertälje.

I found some interresting stats here.
I've played 8 bets, the last four days.

The first day I played one 5 unit bet, and one 3 unit bet. The 5 unit game won.
The second day I played one 4 unit game, that one was a win.
The third day I played one 4 unit bet and one 3 unit bet. both was lost.
Today i played three bets, one 2 unit bet, one 3 unit bet and one 4 unit bet. 2 and 3 unit bets were losses. 4 unit bet was a push. (should have been a win though. sick game)

If I would have picked my favourite bet only, every day. My stats woulda looked like this so far.

I think Malmö will take this. But i need better odds than -200.

Leksand will win. but -500 is not worth it.

Four games in Allsvenskan tonight.
Malmö and leksand should win. But i won't bet, since the odds are to bad.
I think that Växjö has a good chance to win tonight. But there will be no play. since Oskarshamn is good at home.
I'm going to pick västerås to +153 against björklöven tonight.

This is my best play today. Could be 4 units.
But I dont want to wager 4 units on a "high-risk" game like this. If they would have played at home, I would have done it.
But I will never play 4 units on an away team with odds over +130. That's a rule.

That's an interresting play. Malmö hasn't been very good this season. They have been pretty ineffective. (except that last period against Sundsvall)
Troja has been pretty good this season. 2 wins, 1 loss.
What I dont like, is the fact that Troja normally isn't good on awayground.
But, Malmö isn't famous for being strong on their homegames either. Last season they took 41 points home and 31 points away. They were one of the worst home teams last season.
I think that Malmö will win tonight though.
But I think there is a big chance they only win with 1 goal.
A thing I dont like with +1,5 picks in ice-hockey. Is the empty net factor.
Even if it's a tight game. It could be 3-2 Malmö with 2 mins left. Troja will pull the goalie and than it's a big chance malmö scores 4-2

If I had to pick Malmö -1,5 or Troja +1,5, I'd pick the last one. But, I'm gonna stay out of this one. Since I think it could go either way.

I think it will end 3-3/4-3/4-2.
