They have a lot of young talent and turned over the roster pretty well. I think they are on their way back up.

Yeah I agree, no Ducks for me, 15/1 Caps looks alright.

I'm liking the Habs at 33/1.. with the new coach, and hopefully an addition or two, they should be a better team than last year.

Los Angeles Kings is +6000 at my book. If they didn't have Jason LaBarbera for 1/4 of the year they would've made the playoffs.

Didn't the Kings recently pick up someone?

Oh wait, that was a rumour

But if they do get Pronger and LeCavalier.... I'll be jumping on that 60/1!

The rumor was Jack Johnson and the 1st Rd 5th OVR to the Ducks for Chris Pronger.

I don't think Dean Lombardi wants Pronger though I believe he was trying to get him so he could swing Dany Heatley from Ottawa.

But yes, they are supposed to make a big pitch for Marian Gaborik this offseason.

                      Ya, no prob. lol.

Oh I also like the Dallas Stars ALOT. They played basically the whole season without Richards and Morrow. Those are two elite players in this league. With a good offseason they could be a legit contender. Can't expect Turco to be as bad as he was as last year.

Ribeiro is an elite offensive player, Richards, Morrow, Lehtinen, James Neal, Louie Erikkson. And on top of that they have a good young defensive core.

Pronger cant help the kings, he is washed up.
Element you are right bout the ducks, but i still cant play it.

Either, Caps,Flyers,Pens. West look washed up. I think its time for the East to shine the next few years

I disagree on that actually. The parody in the Western Conference is definitely better than the East. With the exception of Columbus this year every seed in the Western Playoffs had a chance to win the Cup. The Penguins are pretty much just lucky that San Jose got knocked out.

There are 13 teams in the West that can ALL make the playoffs next year and do damage in the playoffs next year. Theres 5 or 6 down right bad teams in the Eastern Conference. Islanders, Thrashers, Leafs, the Lightning, and even the Senators now..

sorry i meant it as this

East have Pens(which did get lucky, but they get better every year). Flyers, aslong as they make the right moves and find Defense. Caps, i dont like anymore, Ovechkin is the Caps

West-Wings, very good pressure team. Other then that....i dont see any other team. Columbus, still needs defense. Sharks are overrated,Stars are done, even though Modano is playing again next season.
