NHL EXPERIMENT small sample extra action fun

Simple just going to take the biggest variance ,or win-vs-loss team of the day and wager no overtime will happen. Going to utilize 7units for this . if I lose all 7u I'm done ,actually knowing myself if I lose 5u I'm done. So each unit will be a separate entity of itself. All profits will be rolled into the next wager for a faster pace/chance of reaching the goal.(example:a win pays out 25% so next wager would be 1.25 and this carries on until 1 unit profit is reached or the starter 1u becomes 2u. SO the goal is trying to double each unit. Once each unit is doubled that trial is done. There are 7 separate tries for this

az/phi/no overtime/-380 for a 26% return

After a quick review I thought I'd share this option......

If you were to risk a flat unit amount on each wager until it doubles you would not lose a full unit unless you lose game 1. I estimate it would take 1 more win at -350 odds to double the unit, so 4 wagers instead of 3.

Any opinion?

Looking at the perspective amount of wagers need to double even reinvesting profits appears to be a risky venture. So all wagers now are going to be 1u only as to insure some small profit ,and further allowing this EXPERIMENT to go on further (example: lets say 5 wagers have failed to double at @ 25% payout ,out of that 5 their was a total of 4 wagers won. THUS leaving another 1u secured to give it another try).At this point 0.28u is secured for possible future use thanks to the win last night.
