How the hell do you bet hockey?

I've bet on NHL a few times when I was attending games but other than that I never took it seriously. What information do you guys use to cap?

I usually try to cover various angles... check the schedule of the teams, injuries, starting goalies, form, various metrics such as Fenwick, Corsi, PDO, special team plays etc., how well do the teams match up with eachother, importance of the win, what public is betting... I follow to the NHL closely so most of it comes natural to me on a daily basis and if I see a game which I like, I dig deeper into it.
