For you, Cosmo Kramer, I will consider it. Seinfeld is my favorite show of all time, and Kramer is the best character on it.

Canucks/Avs: Jacob Markstrom and Calvin Pickard are the starting goalies for this game. If they can keep it under six goals, I will take my loss and move on.
Oilers/Ducks: This one worries me. I usually put on Ducks home games to help me fall asleep at night. I only hope that Bernier struggles tonight against Edmonton, like he has for his career.Comment -

Maple Leafs REG: Wings just played in OT last night against the Bruins. They let one slip away in that one. I'm thinking Petr Mrazek will be starting for the Wings tonight. I'm hoping the Leafs have more energy tonight and take care of business.
Avalanche REG/ML: I'm well aware of how awful the Avs are. However, they are getting Vancouver's backup goalie tonight and the Canucks are not good on the road. I'm hoping the Avs can pull their shit together and get it done here.Comment -

I know it's a lot, but I started this shit by betting in volume. Betting in volume got me all the units in the beginning. I tried to trim it up but weeded out the winners, so back to this way. If this is to be my last night, I at least want to finish with the style I began.

Thanks, man. I got in my head and thought I probably look stupid posting so many bets. That's why I tried to trim it up and make less bets. But for some reason, I do better this way. I don't do well at going over 50% making only these + odd bets, but I'm new to this style. I hope to improve through experience.Comment -

I'm still amazed at how such a shitty record has accrued me over 16 units. Low risk/high reward has been good to be so far, but it sucks having such a terrible record. I'm going to be doing some things differently to try to help that out. I will now be open to taking bets at negative odds. I will still take o5's and move them to o5.5 so that I can get good + odds, but I will also start moving u5's to u5.5 if I feel it will help me win. I know the odds will go down to like -150 sometimes, but I'm going to try it. I hope to hit around 70% doing that. The overall goal is to win more bets and units at the same time. Going 4-9 for +1.75 is not what I'm after. Then again, if this change doesn't help, I will go back to making only + odds bets.Comment -
Finally, we get some NHL action again. There are a lot of really good games tonight. I'm going to enjoy watching as many of them as possible. Today has felt a little like Christmas did as a kid. I just hope I make a little bit of money tonight while watching the action. The players should all be fresh and rested, but sometimes that leads to rust.

I wouldn't worry about the record at all. It is units your after. When MLB starts, keep track of this. For the 1st month of the season put 1 unit on every dog in every game. At the end of April look at where you are. Every year since I can remember the win rate is 46-47% but you are up good units. I learned this from a contest across the street. I've missed some opportunities tonight. I could have moved all my overs up a .5 goal and gained some profit. I was nervous about doing it to the Canadiens game because of so many 5 goal occurrences, but I do regret not doing it in the other two. Jackets backup goalie and Rangers at home = 6 or more 80% of the time. Blues are trending to become the worst goaltending team in the league and Pavelec (Jets) on the road is not good. Should have moved that one to 6.
It's all about grabbing as many units, as I can, whenever I win. I kind of lost that train of thought tonight, mostly because of uncertainty of how the players would play tonight.Comment -
In April, there are no stats to go on from that year so people just go off of prev year including bookmakers. you have teams that get off to good starts that are young, Rookie pitchers that no one knows about, those teams are +$$$. Then teams that sign a bunch of free agents that are overrated that bomb as big faves. Think Zach Greinke last year. After everyone has 30 games in and pitchers have 4 or 5 starts, books can adjust accordinglyComment
