DoubleDime, would you care to help shed some insight on angles for OVERS? Most of the NHL trends I find lead to UNDERS, but I really want to try to diversify my plays... for example... the way this season is going, i would get crushed betting only unders, so i want to work on the overs. Any help you can suggest would be most appreciated.

JR As I mentioned in the above post, I am not an angle handicapper. My Regular Plays are based more on trends and good old fashion, old school handicapping. I also add in some ref stats and even line movement at times. I don't know if that helps but that's how I do it.

Hi DD,

thoughts on the Islanders/Coyotes under today? I'm not sure where the line opened but it is sitting around -195 / -200 and the o/u is 5.5.

-195/5.5's in November hit at 71.2% dating back to the beginning of the 13 season. Going an amazing 16-2 last season with a 2016 1-0 record. I'm on the under...

I am going to be posting it shortly, but you are correct, the AZ/NY game opened at -220 and it is an "Angle" play.

Games dating back to the beginning of the 2007 season, during the month of October, where the line was larger than -180, with a total of 6 have gone 28-7 but only 15-17-3 on the O/U.

Not enough data to come to a clear conclusion. The last game (before last nights game) was on Oct.15th 2013.

Looking at all months, here is what we got:

Home team went 149-86 with a RoI of -$5090, away teams did better.
O/U was 114-97-24, nothing special

Conclusion, not worth it. Don't touch it

I like over 5.5 Tor/Tampa. Andersen is over 3-1 this year on the over. Toronto's goalie is really shit and their kids are scoring goals in bunches. I think Tampa will get 5 goals against Andersen
