    NHL Edges - Jan 8
    TB/Edm UNDER 5.5 -126

TB has struggled to score and I think Edm at home can limit them. Edm always has trouble scoring and I doubt they light it up here. Fair price should be around -135 in my opinion.

    Col -104

Once again I feel Colorado is undervalued at home. They have a better goal differential than Nash (+3 vs -2) and are playing well at home. Nashville has been playing quite soft lately and there is no reason why this should be a pick em line. Colorado will win this game better than 51% of the time. Fair price around -115.

I am leaning towards taking Chi -0.5 in regulation -130 but I want -120 or better before I lay it.

    YTD: 18-9, +11.7 units

That's my favorite Under of the day too...last season I strayed away from Edmonton home Unders, but it seems their D has improved along with goaltending...and TB just doesn't score a lot...personally I think it's reasonable at -125, but wouldn't play it at -140 or higher.

Just curious - I know you have a short explanation behind Avs, but they are not strong or even mediocre at home this season...seems they get lucky occasionally and they win when you don't expect them to...which scares me because I don't expect them to tonight.
I am on Nashville +1.5 in a parlay...if Avs win by 1, I guess we both win!

Home-away gol diferrencial COL is -3 but NSH is -16. No doubt that Colorado is better at home then Nashville on road

Nashville just picked up Johansen, maybe explains the line movement. Still confident in Colorado here.

This is hockey my friend, we cant predict any of the outcomes only estimate the probability of it happening. I feel it will go under at better than 58% of the time

Ok - it really could go either way - which is why I didn't just play Nashville SU, but in a parlay at +1.5
And Hudini is right - I didn't realize Preds were not very good on the road.

                    Chi -0.5 in regulation -120

Was waiting for this line to move down and it has. These are two teams headed in opposite directions. Buf has lost 5 in a row while Chi has won 5. Add that to the fact Chicago is clutch at home and this is a strong play in my opinion rather than laying the hefty -220 ML

This may nip me in the rear later, but I put down a bet on Buffalo TT (U 2.5) -180...wish my books could adjust so I could play U 2 instead.
Looking good for that Under in Edmonton!

I am considering a play on Edmonton +1 at -143...thoughts? Not sure why TB is favored at such juice on the road vs an Oilers team that has played well at home.

Nice to have some good hockey guys in here - especially Rich Boy...well, obviously since it's his own thread.
I don't get to watch too much hockey - let alone other sports, but try to keep up other ways.

That sucked man...so close to hitting that big parlay with Preds +1.5
End up losing .25 units tonight going 2-1...

Will not back Preds on road again for a while...no way you should be giving up 5 goals to Avs.

That was extremely unlucky. 1.1 left on the clock or something
