#562Not criticizing guys but why are you both putting so much on these games? 35% on 2 games Rollin? Come on man you guys have been around the block you can't chase. Just back off a while set back and study without putting down anymore of your BR. Just play "fake" plays until you get back on a roll and jump back in. This season has been crazy especially after the new year.Comment -

i currently play only 2% on each pick. I'm in a huge hole this year and getting close to burning out my NHL bankroll. But I can tell you right now, I won't ever play more than 2% from here on out, even when baseball starts. I've learned my lesson and won't do it again. GL to guys, I hope things turn around for ALL of Us!!!Comment -

#564Guys please don't take this the wrong way, but......there is no such thing as a "lock". If there was we would all be millionaires. Anybody can lose on any given day. As hard as it is you gotta keep that in mind. It took me a real long time to get that in my head. This is just a coin flip. Bankroll management is key, and only you know what's best for yourself and your roll. Sorry for clogging up your thread slam. I'm just throwing my 2 cents out there and hopefully it helps a bit.Comment -

#565There comes a point in your mind when you just say - well, if I lose it all, then so be it. I'm not going anywhere anyhow and have been losing at a constant rate for so long. It's not worth the hours of studying and worrying that I've invested - just realizing that.
I have been to the point of being bankrupt 3 times before, and played the rest of my BR and won all 2 of those times. If you figured it out, yeah - I had to reload once before.
I didn't see Carolina +1.5 as a lock, but I was pretty confident they'd at least by tied in regulation - if not ahead by a goal or 2.
Yeah - I'm upset that I put so much down on these 2 games, but what if Carolina happened to hit that? I'd have made a nice profit that would have erased my losses for the week. It was a gamble, but it's "gambling".
You guys are absolutely right that it's "wise" to not put such a heavy weight on 1 or 2 games. But I had been patient for so long and just lost my patience. Thanks for the support/advice guys - I would do it differently given the chance to do over, but it's too late and have to move forward (bad choice of words there)Comment -

Thinking Blues can help me out tonight - I can go with +1.5 and get less or the ML for more. Thoughts?Comment -

#571I think many of us have been in yours shoes before as far as gambling. I know I have for sure. My advice to you is: Play to win and Don't play trying not to lose. I see a lot of your plays are take the favorite, but with +1.5. These high odds will always kill you even in the parlay. If you think that Blues is gonna to win, play ML but I would never go favorite with +1.5. Sure it will win from time to time, but one hit that goes against you will take you a while to make up for it. I would only take +1.5 on the dogs (depending on odds). Just want you to know that I feel for you and I have been there. And that's just my two cents. GL the rest of the way.
Just seems like when you're reeling, you play the safer play more dangerously...if that makes sense.
But in the long run, making all these +1.5 bets will cost me...almost paid off last night but for the empty netter by TB with Under 10 sec. left
I keep trying to beat this in nhl, as I won my last 17 bets of +1.5 in mlb (actually only about 4 of those I needed the +1.5)
And my thinking is that there are closer scores in nhl than in mlb - especially with 2 quality teams.Comment -

#574Ok - let's try TB tonight...this team is hot and getting back to dominance at home.
Zona on a b2b after a hard-fought game at Wash last night.
I may go ML and +1.5 for this one...oh yeah forgot - I can only place 1 bet.Comment -

#593Dude - you know I hardly EVER play Overs, but decided I was confident enough in the Over in Boston to play it...this is a big reason why I don't play Overs...I have had so many bad beats like this (not that I consider this a really bad one) where the Over looked so sure after 1 or 2 periods and then nobody can find the back of the net the rest of the game.Comment -

#594And it appears the ONLY Over today was my only Under play (in Carolina).
I just can't seem to figure out totals the last 3-4 days...it's ridiculous how many Unders are hitting!Comment -
