I did some tweaks to my hockey model, so would be great if I could duplicate MLB results.

That would be unreal. How'd your NHL model do last season?

Oh it sucked last year.
87-112-11, -11.27
Wasn't that concerned about the W/L because of so many dogs, but the -11 was below par

Hi LT,
Firstly, good luck with the new season & I hope it goes as well as MLB was for you this year.
I was wondering if you could answer a question for me: Is it ever profitable to fade a team for every game in the regular season? As a native of Toronto, I don't think the Leafs will win more than 15 games this season and I'm predicting it will be their worst season to date. So if this is the case, if I bet against Toronto every game, regardless of the heavy price (we'll probably see -200 to -250 range for some games), would this strategy work? I'm not good with models & stats, so any quick insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is it EVER profitable, yes because sometimes books are slow to catching up to just how awful teams are. Would I recommend doing it, no because more often than not the books are on top of the ball (or puck) and start undervaluing losing teams (overvaluing their opponents) knowing most people will not bet on the bad teams.
