I'm hoping that the start of OT is like the start of the 3rd period.
The Flames were calm (even Pierre McGuire agreed as he mentioned that at the start of 3) and the Hawks were quite anxious.
However, I don't think the Hawks will be so tight though... They have the juice flowing in their veins and they will come out guns-a-blazing I reckon.
I hate to say this, but I would place my bets on Chicago right now... although, the longer the game goes the more it favours the Flames. If the Hawks don't score in the first 6 minutes it will begin to even out, with the last 6-7 minutes of OT with Flames control.Comment -

I think the Flames had this one in the bag but hels called it they started to just sit in their zone and let the hawks try and score. If the Flames were a tad bit more aggressive even just getting more shots on goal they may have wrapped this one up. But the longer that this one has gone, the more faceoffs and hits the hawks have been getting and more importantly, the more work Kipper has had to do.Comment -

With that win the nerves are out and I expect much better play from the Hawks from the get go.
Man Kipper has one hell of a glove. He just got screened out and had no chance at that long wrister, that was just a good shot. You can really respect a goalie like Kipper when you have guys like Huet who can get beat by easier shots glove side.Comment -

nah I bet the Flames and even though I lost I think that it was a good dog bet in the sense that Calgary did have a very good chance to win.
and I had made a post that if I had live betting I would have put money on Chicago to tie it up... a minute later they tied it at 2-2.
Then before OT I said I would bet on the Hawks, which obviously would have won as well
but hey, once a bet is made it is final and no matter what happens... and I always try to place my bets as objectively as possible.
