Marleau is just the latest on a growing list of Sharks who have been sidelined with injuries.
Forward Jonathan Cheechoo (lower body), defenceman Rob Blake (lower body), forward Ryane Clowe (lower body procedure) and forward Marcel Goc (lower body) are just a handful of the nine San Jose players scratched on Saturday.
"Everyone is going to have to contribute," said Sharks forward Tom Cavanagh. "We have a lot of injuries so we need all four lines to go out there and create some energy. That's what this team needs."

Day to day usually means questionable, meaning they are reevaluated each day. What you got was from Saturday or Sunday saying those players are day to day and questionable for Monday night.
