I'm not one to make premature predictions..but that was classic bruins hockey right there..on the road nonetheless.
The number of odd man rushes and Detroit getting caught in line changes are very concerning as the Bruins are like a battering ram and they roll 4 lines at you that can all deliver punishment and goals.

+4500 should be detroits chance of winning round 1. I know it's only 2-1 Boston but Rask has given up 2 goals in 3 games..Howard has given up 7 in 3 games..not sure Detroit has an advantage in any facet of this series. And boston is playing angry, they have been since the season started..they want it the most and it shows.

Combine all that with this being Detroit's first year in Eastern Conference, I'd say this is a rude awakening of how life is in the East...If you don't want to be a bruiser team, you will get abused..Even Montreal is realizing this and other teams are trying to build their teams just like the Bruins.

Where to start...Krejci was our last playmaker back in 2007 vs the flyers and when he went down, the team went down with him...But that was 7 years ago, oh and the B's have won a cup since then so we can strike that off the argument.

Losing in 6 games to the Hawks in the cup last year, against a team that was built deeper than the Bruins I wouldnt consider choking..despite how it ended.

Zetterberg will not make a difference, especially for one game...he will have just as much difficulty getting thru the defensive layers as Datsyuk or the dissappearing act Franzen are having. The bruins also have the best goal tender in the playoffs, 2 goals allowed on 80 shots across 3 games. If Bruins win tonight, it's over next game at home.

The Wings are like the bad news bears right now, just silly sloppy turnovers in the neutral zone, guys taking line changes allowing the Bruins to go on fast breaks, Jimmy Howard is a glorified Marc Andre Fleury. Hard to watch the Bruins and fear anyone right now.

The real question is what do the Wings have that makes you believe they will make it out of the first or second round? This isnt 2002 anymore, there are much deeper, stronger, tougher teams than the Wings right now...The perfect sum up of this series is when Smith and Chara had their tussle and Smith got exposed as a wussy rat..This is big brother taking it to little brother..The Eastern Conference is all Boston right now and has been for the past 2 seasons/
