Ovechkin's Status for Tonight's Game Against Toronto
Guys I'm just wondering if anyone associated with the forum knew or read that Alexander Ovechkin wasn't going to play tonight against the Maple Leafs?
Now I'm fully aware that it's really up to each individual to check the injury status of each team or teams of the game he plans to place his wager on each day. By the same token however, we're all here to help one another win money and I would assume and hope that if anyone knew of Ovechkin's non-playing status tonight, that person would have made it a headline accompanied by a short thread to let everyone know of this important fact. Afterall, this guy isn't your ordinary everyday player and his absence tonight certainly had a huge impact on the final outcome in my opinion.
Pocketlint had a thread entitled "Juicy Pre-Game Notes:WASH V LEAFS" and in his second paragraph, he highlighted the sentence which indicated Ovechkin was going to play tonight against the Leafs.
Now unless his (Ovechkin's) absence was a last minute decision this evening, I would be very interested in knowing where PL gathered or picked up this information.

Fellow forum members, please, if you gather any pertinent game or player information, whether you read it somewhere or it was even passed on to you verbally, don't hesitate to post it in a heading followed by a short thread with a couple of sentences explaining the information and the source for everyone's benefit. As I mentioned above, every individual is responsible or should be soley responsible for gathering his own wagering info each and every day, but remember we're not wagering against one another here, so please take the time, if you know, to share anything at all that may have an impact on any game outcome.

Well you would think that would be the case but I wouldn't call it 'obvious'.
Simply wanted to make sure--that's all!
