New York Rangers +1300 to win the Eastern Conference
This is the best value on the board. The Rangers had a coaching change and struggled early on in the season. Rick Nash also missed time with concussion issues and most importantly "The King" was playing his worst hockey of his career. The past few weeks though Ryan Callahan has come back from injury, Nash is healthy and playing the best hockey since he became a Ranger, and Brad Richards has bounced back from his dreadful season last year. Marc Staal who was also injured last year is playing like a top defenseman. 1-4 with McDonagh, Girardi, Staal, and Strahlman they are deep on defenseman. Pouliot and Zuccarello have also stepped up which combined with Nash's and Richard's resurgence has given their scoring depth a much needed boost as it was the reason they struggled under Tort's.

The East looks like a two horse race with Boston and the Penguins looking like the teams to beat. That being said we have all seen Fleury's struggles in the post season since the Pen's cup run. Boston looks tough as well but I think when we head down the stretch NY will emerge as the clear number 3 team and most dangerous. Lundquist is playing like himself again and with him they have the ability to beat anybody. I still think Pit and Bos are better but NY will close the gap down the stretch and this will be their best value at +1300. This was a team who 2 years ago made it to the conference finals and this version is even better equipped for the post season.

I could barely read this because of the distracting avatar...

Uh ya. Great find here. If I were to guess it wouldn't be them but Boston, but the value is enticing. The obvious teams don't always make it to the cup game though, which is why I like this. Eastern conference is garbage this year and comes down to if a team can beat Boston or Pitt. GL on this!

The beginning of the season, Rask was an unsolvable problem to opposing scoring. He was hot! If he locks in, he is really hard to beat. That and the team (Boston) is a large defensive team that can creatively manufacture goals. Usually a good combo for winning in the playoffs.

I think there's a good chance one of Girardi/Callahan will be moved before the deadline. I think the Rangers team is just good enough this year to get to the ECF.

Blues at higher than +1000 for the cup easily the best value.

I dunno. I like the Blues to go far. They probably will. But with the West being so competitive it is a little harder to predict. With the East you only have a few teams that anyone is giving a shot so trying to pick a winner there prolly has the most value.

I don't see +1000 for the Blues. They're one of the favorites and is more like +550 from what I see.

If you see +1000 it might be worth it to take. Again though the West is up for grabs by almost every qualifying team IMO

Even if they just got there it's an easy hedge at +1300. I think Girardi stays and Callahan 25% of getting dealt.

If somehow Nash shows up they roll. If he doesn't it's going 7. If Nash doesn't score and they lose, he'll be playing somewhere else next year.

Nash is there best offensive player, he isnt going anywhere. Montreal just beat Boston and they destroyed Tampa in round 1..they are the better team..although its close

He's not their best offensive player - one goal in what is it now 30 playoff games? In terms of pure talent he surpasses anyone else on the team, but he's not nearly consistent enough to be their best player. Rest of the team is rolling right now. Getting Kreider back in the lineup has really made a difference, McDonaugh seemed to be playing better towards the end of the Pitt series. Biggest challenge for the Rangers will be winning games in the Bell Center.

Montreal did NYs dirty work by beating Boston and now Price is out. All breaks are falling the Rangers way.

Pretty sure he was referring to King Henrik at goalie, and I would definitely say that he is a Top 5 goalie in the world right now (and also by far the best player on the Rangers)
