Going to start a thread here. Follow if you want, or wait a week and then follow. Going to start at one pick a day for you boys, might post more. Will probably write a little about the pick.

1 U on Vancouver - 130 vs Edmonton.


What the pick has going for it: Vancouver has been bad. But they still beat Calgary. Edmonton has been bad, and they flat out suck. Torts is suspended right now which will help Vancouver in my opinion. They need a break from him. Vancouver usually plays well against Edmonton, and a trip to Oil Country is what Vancouver needs to right the ship.

First play for you boys is Chicago Blackhawks - 140 over Detroit.


What this play has going for it: Howard is out for a bit which is bad for detroit. He's their best goalie by far and Detroit continues to deal with the injury bug. Also, Detroit has been poor this year at home, while Chicago has been great on the road. Recent history shows Chicago dominates Detroit as well, and it's a no brainer which team is better.

I think you're right. The over is at six. I still like pitt here and maybe buy down to over 5.5 for the game. Also look at Vancouver o2.5

I toke pens over 6 goals, i think at worst it will push. I wouldn't be so sure about Vancouver, they are not playing well, hard time adapting and playing into Mr. T's system.

Vancouver is playing consider worst against Western conference teams. Henrik Sedin is out.
D. Sedin and Kesler plays good against Nashville, the rest is Poor. I would bet Kesler to score a goal =)

However It's Dubnyk so anything can happen.... BOL with the play.

Also about canucks. You're right with that but dubie sucks. He's on my fantasy team. I think canucks will win five of six without torts. I'm loving canucks over 2.5 here. And blues.

Any other hawks backers out there? Didn't see them losing twice in a row, do we take them next game? I want to say no because last time Pitt did that to me I cut them off, but ended up with them tonight taking care of me. Let me know boys, someone out there has to read this. I am not an air bettor, nor am I an expert. I bet with a local for awhile and he finally pissed me off enough to where I joined up online. I like it so far, it's a lot more flexible.

These are my Risk/To Win/Paid numbers. I do soccer moderately successfully as well. Been OK at football for once.

$50 is 1U for me for the record. I'll continue to post and I'll try to post everything I do, but sometimes I wait until last second (which is what I like about the online aspect). We'll keep at this boys. Most I've ever bet on a game is 8 units, but that's rare. I have to really be sure about something to do more than 4 units. I was on a heater before I started this (which was the reason I started it). I really hope to get back on the heater and share some wins. A lot of my soccer wins come from knowledge other people post, and I appreciate what they do. In turn though I tend to have decent hockey insight and incorporate a lot of different angles into plays and get information from all over the place (no, I don't have insider information and don't ever believe people when they say they do, nor is anything ever a lock).

Whenever I bet with a local I'd tell him 1U on a team and he'd say -130 for example. So I could win 1U still but I'd lose 1.3 if it lost, which is why I post like that. But I'll try to keep it like the above.
