I do have sharks ML in a parlay, so I hope they win by a goal and both our bets cash. I really don't have an opinion on that Atl/Pho game...seems like a coin flip to me and on a coin flip I would always take the better line so I cannot disagree with you there. My only issue is that as bad as Phoenix has been they seem to play fairly tough at home. I think the Thrashers put up a bunch of goals, just never know how many they will give up with that team, extremely weak defense and goaltending.

Dave there should be an asterisk beside the San Jose home record, they have an advantage when Eastern based teams have to travel to the west coast to play, Sharks are a good team but I believe their home record wouldn't be near what it is if they were on the East coast.

Majority of teams in the NHL are in the eastern time zone.

Don't like either of the plays you're on tonight, nice explanations - solid video but I'd stay away from both those games.

Sharks winning by 1 is exactly the result I am envisioning; just hoping I don't get burned by an empty net goal in the end. Could easily see this one going to OT as long as the Kings don't come out flat.

Atlanta/Phoenix is indeed a crapshoot, which is why I was surprised to see them at +125. Well worth the price, even with the points you make. Phoenix does play much better at home, but lately they've played poorly no matter what the stadium.

This is a great point; the Sharks would still be an elite team in the East, but hard to believe their home record would be 24 - 2 - 3 without the advantage of playing out west.

I'd like to think I know these teams pretty well as I follow the Pacific most closely, but we'll see how I do tonight. Thanks for watching, I have no problem at all with people disagreeing with my plays.

GL if you have the guts on the ML!

The Sharks being no good in the shootout is re-assuring, as I think there is a decent chance this one goes to OT, and the Kings haven't fared well in the extra period so far.

Like I said, nice video and good points made about your selections, I just don't like the games you picked to bet on.

My only play tonight is Vancouver (@ Ottawa).

Yeah fair enough.

Both teams are pretty hot (assuming the Colorado loss didn't cool Ottawa off completely; they did play well in that one), should be a good game.

Sens best player is out (Alfredsson) and they are going with goalie Brian Elliot, he was pulled last game he started after giving up 3 goals on 6 shots in the first period.

I'll lay the -120 on Vancouver with a much better goalie and all their top players in the lineup vs an Ottawa team that hasn't been very good except for a nice little run recently.

Ah, didn't realize he was out, didn't read anything on that game... I was listening to the Colorado game on the radio, he came back out to play late in the 3rd, so I assumed he was fine... Colorado radio announcers didn't make it sound that serious

Elliot had a good run going before that lousy game; I'm not willing to write him off completely. But Vancouver is the superior team; just didn't know how they'd fare coming off of that emotional Calgary game.

Colorado is a bad team, regardless, the Vancouver (@Ottawa) game literally jumped off the page at me today. I estimated Vancouver had a 90% chance of winning this game so I had no problem laying -120, which was actually a very good price as it moved to -135 at game time.

Vancouver leads Ottawa 3-0 after 1 period, I'm grading this one a winner already.

Now the perfect ending to the day would be ANOTHER Montreal loss.

davey, 200 hockey days a year, times 4 min a vid for you, =800 minutes of vid.. but i'll do you a favor now since i like you and i'll save you the headache and the hard work of doing the vids, uploading, not including all your research you put into each game..

here's where i save you the work of ever doing this again..

the final result will again get you very very very close to 50%, and down money.. no matter how much info you know about past games and so forth, which you do know well.

so i just saved you 800 minutes, OR 13.5 hrs of video making.. davey, if you live to be 100, you will nver be able to predict this shit.. it's impossible to handicap sports, trust me on this one.
