Nice hit Ser!
Unfortunately I was going to do a small bet on Bruins ML too to hedge another bet with Habs +1.5, but Detroit Tigers lost today...figures I tail them to end their 7 - game win streak...at least I played them a couple times in that stretch...
I have Bruins +400 to win Eastern Conf and Montreal to win series +190.
So is the play Bruins -1 next game you think? I think they win, but ML may be around -190.
Definitely on Kings next game.
On Blackhawks ML tomorrow.

Thanks Rollin!
To tell ya the truth I'm not too sure what the play is for next game yet... I'm leaning Boston to win the series, but I think it's going 7 games regardless... these teams are just so close right now, and any one of the goalies can steal a game on any given night so really it's a coin flip IMO... I just really didn't see BOS going down 3-1 last night so that's why I laid the juice. I like CHI to bounce back tonight as well man, we'll see what happens.

I may just lay off tonight's Bruins game.
I've got Habs +190 to win series and Bruins +400 to win Eastern Conf.
If Bruins lose tonight, probably play Bruins ML in a parlay or go Boston -1.

Can you explain to me your thinking behind these bets? I'm not criticizing or anything I'm just truly curious.

I was just giving myself a little insurance in case the hawks won in OT...I didn't wanna pay the steep price for the ML so just went with that.

Yea I actually figured that out after I posted. Seems like a sound strategy, has it paid off for you?

Oh and that may be the luckiest under hit I've ever seen in hockey, congrats. I was really close to playing the over but I had a lot of money out on the basketball game, thank god I didn't.

I've actually only done it a handful of times this season, and it may have paid off once or twice where the team I picked won in OT, so I get half my stake back basically. I only do that basically when I think it's going to be close and I dont' wanna pay high juice on the money line, and obviously I'm torn as to whether or not the team will get it done in regulation. Is it a sound strategy? I'm not sure... probably too little of sample size at this point to determine if the money I lost by not taking the juiced ML is greater than the money I've saved by getting cheaper prices on the 1st 60 min./-1 lines....unless I tracked it I wouldn't know. It would be an interesting stat to see though....

Oh man, I thought that bet was toast once New York scored that 2nd goal at the end of the first...can't believe it hit.

I was kicking myself at that point that I didn't play the over like I had planned to. Worked out for both of us.
