Based on? I was looking at Hawks series price again. Red Wings 0-4 against Hawks in regular season. Understand most were OT victories so could go either way, but what makes you think they win 4 out of next 7? Hawks well rested and Red Wings just had those long flights to west coast - really don't see a play on red wings here

If you believe that Red Wings are better team than I would rather bet the series because 1 game could go either way. That said - I considered doing a underdog chase on this series - take Red Wings in Game 1, chase on Game 2 if needed, then see what line said once series moved to Detroit. In theory if Detroit is down 0-2 you should get good odds on them at home and bet they don't get swept

Howard just needs to be solid, but more important part is Wings Defensemen can't make mistakes in there own zone.

There defense as a whole really gelled together the last 15-20 games(besides Quincey). Babcock finally has them playing the way he wants. Losing best defensemen of this generation is hard to replace. Thats why it took so long. Lidstrom use to bail his teamates out all the time now Howard is left alone to bail out his D-Men. Losing DeKeyser in 1st round was a bigger loss than the avrage fan will realize though.

ya DeKeyser was a big surprise. Where did he come from? I like Kindl and Smith, but they are very inconsistent still. Another year under their belts will do wonders for them.
