I'm not a Bruins fan, but please enlighten me. How is Florida a better team than Boston? Facts only please.

And before you make a rambling post about how I don't understand value, etc., let's make one thing clear. You didn't state the Panthers are the better bet (even though they're not), but the better team. Waiting breathlessly.

Fully healthy, Boston massacres Florida depth wise.

At their current states, Florida barely counts as an NHL team. They are without 2 of their top 3 Dmen, 3 of their top 6. Gudbranson is not NHL ready yet still. He will be 3-4 years away from being an average top 4 dman in the NHL. They are without their top centerman, they are without 2 of their top 3 forwards. They are without 4 of their top 6. Huberdeau is a defensive liability and needs to be sheltered at this point in his career (rookie year, thats normal and expected) but they have no one to shelter him since their tougher minute players are all out.

On the flip side, for the people trashing on Markstrom, you are way off. This guy has all the tools and will be the next elite goaltender in the league. He's, by far, the best goaltending prospect in the game right now. Big, athletic, but still calm in the net. All the tools to be not just another good goalie.

the Florida Panthers are not a better hockey team than the Boston Bruins. period. They aren't even in the same ballpark.
