three B2B plays today - Sharks at home vs Detroit, Avs at Canucks, and Coyotes at Predators...
Sharks percentages are conflicting, in B2B situations where both games are at home and the home team wins the 1st won, they've gone on to win the 2nd one 14 out of 17 times. However, the Sharks are 1-5 in B2B situations (their one W coming on the Home and Home, go figure). With how well Detroit is playing, I like the Redwings here but I would not put $ on it because of the conflicting stats.
I like the Canucks to take care of business against the Avs, in regulation. Avs are 1-3 in B2B's and are terrible on the road.
I also like the Predators to take care of the Coyotes who are 1-5 in B2B games while the Preds are a decent home team. ALso like the Over in this one.
Also like the Pens, but who doesn't? would take them in reg. Would also take the Under here.Comment -

I'm glad I took Pittsburgh in regular and under, and decided to leave the Nashville game alone tonight. Weird night... 9 goals in first period in a single game, Columbus scoring 10 seconds in the game, Flyers losing after 2:0 lead (OK, nothing new here, right?) and it's far from over still.Comment -

Only one B2B play tonight, Blue Jackets @ Flames. Blue Jackets are on the road again following a road loss... teams in that situation (road game following a road loss) have lost the second game almost 60% of the time. Also, Blue Jackets are 2-5 in B2B games and the Flames play much better at home while the Blue Jackets continue to suck on the road. I will take Flames in regulation here. Would take the over as well.
Also like the Blackhawks at home in regulation. Ducks playing their 4th game in 6 days and Blackhawks have had 2 days rest without having to travel. Think this game actually stays under thoughComment -
I am liking your leans so far Huck. This is what I am thinking:
I was thinking of going big on Hawks today with the Huck special ML, in reg and PL but then Hossa is still out, sharp is out and so thats 2 of the top 5 points scorers for the Hawks this season. So that ruled out the very big play. But Hawks are at home and Ducks gonna be tired, so I'm going with the Hawks in reg and Under in this game.
Stars, who knows which stars team is going to turn up. Both teams relatively lacking injuries. First game 1-0 Wild next game 7-4. I think both teams sort there D out today for the under and a good price on a wild team in good form.
Again Devils/Lightning game I think will be cagey with Devils taking it by 1 and the under.
Final game Blue jackets at Flames. I was on auto flames ML here because flames have had some time off and are a decent hockey team at home! But then remembered flames best player just got traded to Pens, but still believe flames could come out today and show everyone they are not a 1 man team. Blue jackets on B2B games away so will be tired too.

sounds good, but with how the Wild and Stars have been playing recently, I'd reconsider the Under. Not saying go Over but really dig into some research and see what you think. How has each team been playing recently in regards to totals, how good the wild are at scoring/defending on the road, and how good the stars are scoring/defending at home. You can get all of that on NHL.com (though I prefer to look at recent games on espn just cause their layout is easier, but for team stats I use NHL.com).Comment -

V2 tab is my homegrown system using stats for home and away.
Binary is stats for each player for the past 82 games and then used in current lineup taking into account played games in so many days, travel etc....

The spreadsheet with all the data is a monster and no real good way to share that.
Basically for the past 2 years i have only really used the Game win %. Anyting over 65% is a def bet for me. Before it actually just team data but this year we got it to actually use the stats from the actual lineups so we can predict even expected output from each player.Comment -
