Got lots to do the rest of the day at work, went ahead and locked in my picks...

Official Picks 3/6/2013:

Coyotes @ Ducks, Ducks Over 2.5 (-145) - Has happened the previous two games against the Yotes, and has happened in 6 of their last 7 games, and 6 of their last 7 home games. Like the chances here.

Edit* Coyotes @ Ducks, Over 5.5 (+110) - This line seems fishy to me. Their last two meetings have gone over, pretty easily. 5 of the last 6 Ducks games have gone over while all 5 of the Yotes last games have gone Over. Why is this line not -110? Can anyone tell me?

Senators @ Maple Leafs, Maple Leafs -.5 (+115) - The Leafs are by no means a great Home team, but the Senators have lost 3 straight and are a mere 3-8 on the road this season, and two of those came during the first week of play. They are 1-8 on the road in their last 9. The Leafs won the last matchup at home and I look for them to win this one as well.

Senators @ Maple Leafs, Senators Under 2.5 (-135) - The Senators have scored 6 goals in their last 4 games. The last time they scored 3 was against the Leafs but it was at home. The Senators have scored less than 3 goals in their last 8 road games. I like the odds here.

Avalanche @ Blackhawks, Blackhawks -.5 (-126) - Both teams are on a B2B but the Blackhawks last game was at home, so no travel for them. They also have not lost a B2B all year, but only one has come by more than one goal. Infact, every other game went to OT or SO. However, they weren't playing against a team also on a B2B. Avs have really had trouble scoring lately and I don't think they will be able to put up much here. Like the Blackhawks in regulation.

Avalanche @ Blackhawks, Avalanche Under 2.5 (-155) - Some juice here, but this is the best defensive team in the league going against a team that is very much struggling on offense. I just don't see the Avs scoring much here, esp since they will likely be tired from last night.

Avalanche @ Blackhawks, Blackhawks ML (-225) - for obvious reasons.

Ducks has been around -150 since 2ish UK time..... I like Ducks O2.5 will probably take an inplay bet if the odds get a little better.

Ive had days like that too....looks like you are enjoying Dimes, more options....Ive just settled on 2 or 3 a day, and the occasional parlay. I was chasing 5,6, even 7 a day and it was crazy, so I trimmed it down and have been cashing, smaller but profitable days.

Ott/tor under -- Ottawa is a under machine 4-17

Chicago under -- see this game 3-1 maybe

not sure of what to make of the anaheim / Phx game and why is Calgary favored over San Jose?
are there some injurys ? If not I may put a few bucks on San Jose.
Like that you got a + on anaheim Cotes , I can't get better than 1.671, feel Anaheim wont lose all 3 games to Phx. BOLTA

The -.5 is for regulation only, so if it goes to OT you lose no matter the final outcome.

After really bad loss I´m taking it easy today. Here is my only play today:

Parlay:
Carolina Hurricanes ml (-119) - Staying with my winning horse. Carolina has been strong @ home lately by winning last 3 home games. Habs have won last 2 games against Carolina in shootout so I´m expecting tough game, maybe going in to OT. But because of Carolinas good act lately I´m going with them.

Washington Capitals ml (-167) - Caps are getting their shyt back together, Have won 3 of their last 4 home games and last 6 games against Florida.

Dallas Stars ml (+140) - LA Kings is going in a fastlane by winning 8 of their last 10 games. Amazing. But you know how it is. Higher you get, longer way it is to fall down. Stars have won last 2 of their games against Kings. This was a tough call but value in this so good that I´m going for it. And I´m expecting a tough game also, and maybe OT. GO STARS GO!!

Pittsburgh Penguins ml (-132) - It is hard to pick from these two teams. I think Pens are way better team, but Philly has a good chance to surpise. Pens are in a 2 game winning streak and overall they have been stronger team this season.

Adding game from Finnish ice hockey league, SM-Liiga. I think it´s called 3-way handicapped or something. Teams playing against each other are Lukko - Ilves. And starting situation is Lukko 0 - 3 Ilves.
Ilves(+3) -223.

Those odds for Ilves is so absurd that I had to take my chance. So one single and one parlay today.

1st Lean:

Maple Leafs @ Bruins, Bruins -.5 (waiting for line) - In B2B situations, a team coming off a home win and going on the road for the next one has lost the road game 77% of the time this year. They will be going up against a solid Boston team and I think the Bruins take this one. I just don't see them losing three in a row.

Maple Leafs @ Bruins, Over 5.5 (+115) - The Maple Leafs have played four B2B series all year, and on the 2nd leg three of their four games have gone over. Their last 5 games have gone over and they have had trouble keeping teams from scoring. The last two Bruins games have gone over but it was because of the Bruins D, not the Offense. I can see a 4-2 type of score here.
