Yup I was very impressed at the Nucks physical play they were smashing the Sharks all over the building. For whatever reason as soon as the playoffs start our scoring disappears. Lou held the fort well last night until a couple of lucky scramble goals for San Jose. Need our big boys to step up tomorrow night.

Game 2 is crucial. If Nucks get it then I think they win the series 4-2. If Sharks get it, I reckon they win the series 4-0. Might actually put a bet depending on what happens tomorrow. Sharks with confidence going home to lock it up in the tank. So really need a win for the Nucks tomorrow.

Nucks will win tomorrow and win game 4 in SJ and regain their home ice advantage back. They played solid physical hockey and will wear down the Sharks if they keep it up. Sharks are notorious for choking. They got two lucky bounces in the 3rd or Nucks could have easily won it in OT.

Canucks have been a good road team in the playoffs over the last 5 years or so (besides in Boston obv). They do better sometimes away from Rogers Centre as they have no pressure on the road as compared to the media circus and moody fans in Van City.

Yeah technically it was a clean hit. Puck arrived on his stick. Wasn't a blatant head shot just unlucky he made contact to the head mostly because he's 6'5. However you gotta have respect for your fellow player there and lay up.

You are right. Not a penalty. They called interference and he had the puck half a second before contact.

was that hit really as dirty as that 1 commentator was initially saying? from back angle it didn't look that bad. and wasnt interference guy had puck. did he really target head? to me it looked like clean hit. didn't look like he intentionally went after head. guy had puck so its legal hit. that commentator that was screaming "ohh dirty blindside hit targeting head hes getting suspension" is a montreal homer. the commentator during intermission was canadian homer announcer too going the way he was attacking Ference. "oooh ference is ditry player repeat offender etc. etc."... um Ference only had 1 suspension in his 13 year career.
