The regular season ends Oct.3 and after that the playoffs will play but games will be limited at that point so it will be hard to come up with a fair daily minimum number. Maybe a weekly minimum of about 10 or so because that will give you a chance to play your better picks instead of just having to make a pick to stay in the contest. Weekly you will always have 1 - Monday , 1 - Thursday plus all Saturday and Sunday games. Just offering a suggestion that seems to be a little more fair to keep it competitve instead of forcing picks to be made.

#38Without moneylines there are absolutely no way to pick at 67%.
5 minimum means the contest will last 60 days at most, before half NFL season in reached.
If the problem is that anyone CAN JUST JOIN CONTEST OUT MAKE ANY PICKS AND WIN THE CONTEST, simply put a minimum total picks to be prize eligible, say 200. If no one is prize eligible, all the points go to the organizer; I think it is fair.
I think a maximum daily is fair, that way no one can pick 50 big favs moneylines on Saturday. 15 sounds good, it may be even lower.
When I joined, it looked strategically interesting. You cannot just sit on the huge chalk moneylines, as someone will reach 200 wins at faster pace. So, it was a delicate equilibrium between number of picks and winning%. So, you are forced to take a large number on MLB picks.Comment -

#40There is really no need for a daily minimum, there will be days with either 0 or 1 game when baseball is over.Comment -

#425 max per day look too restrictive. After baseball, that means about 12 pick maximum per week, about 100 total picks maximum nov-dec. I know that your intention is forcing to get MLB picks. So, maybe a minimum number of MLB picks to be prize eligible can work. Say, 100, but allowing both ML and Runlines. And a daily maximum of 15, or at least 10.Comment -

#45KEYBOARDING made it hard to leave it that way ....
what i should do is leave it like it is and the only thing that will change it you have to get 200 wins with out getting 100 lost and if no one does it then all the points go to the organizer !!!!! how about that ??????Comment -

#46The system is flawed. No one will get to 200 wins and the prize distribution for "top finishers" is ridiculous. You should just make it so the person with the best record after 100 or 200 picks is the winner because the reality is that is the who the winner should be. Anything else is stupid.Comment -

#50Every fix get more complications. Let me propose the next rules, as something close to the original rules:
All ML, sides and totals allowed.
No minimum, maximum 15 daily picks.
To be prize eligible the player must pick at least 200 selections, 100 of which are MLB.
First user that gets 200 wins gets 1st place. If no one does, the most wins (fulfilling eligibility rules) get the prize. If no one gets a prize, all is for the organizer.Comment -

To be prize eligible the player must pick at least 200 selections, 100 of which are MLB. MUST PICK 250 WITH OUT GETTING 100 LOST IF YOU DO YOU ARE DQ >>> AND YOU MUST HAVE 100 MLB PICKS THE WINNER IS THE ONE THAT DON'T GET 100 LOST OR DQ FOR NOT HAVE 100 MLB PICKS AND HAS THE MOST WIN IF EVERYONE GETS DQ THE ORGANIZER GETS IT ALL

#52I'm glad i waited to join this one, who knows what the rules will be on the 1st day of competition. Letting the organizer keep points will keep more people from joining. CM rules are the best ive seen yet. GL with this one.Comment -

#61Well bigdaddy, I am really getting ****** in the 250 wins contest! For some reason I cannot log into ANY of my contests! I cant believe this shit because I only picked 6 picks last night!! This ******* sucks as I might have finished 4th with a great day.
Can you tell me what 6 teams that I did take and can you tell me what the guy ahead of me took? I hope that Richard can figure out what happened, but I wont be able to play in any of the other contests if this keeps up that you have in the future. And I play in the postup contests every week! Well not next week of courseComment -

#69Besides, the rules agreed were maximum 15 picks daily, not 25 weekly. It makes a different strategy, as now the 100 MLB picks are harder to attain.Comment
