I had a similar run last year won two or three weeks in a row. thought I was going to win every week...then reality reared its ugly head and I lost all those close ones i'd been winning.

Took me like 6 weeks to get back in the winners circle. Ride the wave for as long as it lasts!!

Did you end up in the top 10 last year? I know that going 4-0 over the course of season 4 times is amazing. I'm just hoping to keep my scores on the positive side.

Yeah, you really gotta avoid the -5 weeks. A +2 or a +3 doesn't hurt you too much. Those -5's will kill ya!

I'm in the backwaters of South Carolina. So, it probably takes a little longer to get to me!

I also won in week 5 and have not gotten check yet as of 10/17 mail delivery.
I probably should wait for today's mail before sending this reply - I'll let you know when/if it comes.

In the BTP rules, we show the following:

Payment Policy: At the conclusion of each weekly BTP contest, a list of winners (if any) will be automatically generated. On the first business day following the conclusion of each weekly contest, the list of winners will be verified, and all valid weekly winners will be sent a check for $100 via US Postal Service to the contact name and address provided on their BTP entrance form. In the event that any weekly winner is deemed fraudulent and thus disqualified based on the criteria listed in the Fine Print below, the prize in question shall be forfeited and awarded to the next highest scoring qualified weekly contestant. Weekly winners can expect to receive their prizes in 5-10 business days, depending upon their physical address.

So, while I expect that most week 5 winners have already been paid, some folks might see their week 5 winnings as late as Friday October 19 or even Monday October 22, depending on what time we got the winners' info over to the payment service that week.

If you haven't seen your checks within 10 business days of the Monday following your win, be sure to contact Willie Bee or myself immediately and we'll make sure it gets taken care of.

i think mine was just a regular white envelope, with the window in the lower left corner, it will have your address in that window, and you can tell its a check. i would post where it was post marked from, but i don't know if SBR wants that.

I'm wondering how quickly the post limit will climb every week. I know it largely depends on the distribution of who is winning, but I'm wondering how many posts the "average" player is making each week. Right now anywhere from 50-100 is the bottom post count to get in top 10, but by the end of the year it could easily be 150-200.

If things go the way they have been, I am guessing there will be about 3-4 slots for 4-0 picks with 80 or less posts. That doesn't include if the Prick gets lucky and hits 4-0.

I am sure there could be instances where posters with 100 or more posts get shut out, but nothing would suck more if you were caught on the bubble and a couple of posts means you are out of the money.

It only takes a few seconds to make a post here or there....
