CBC HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA WEEKLY POOL

Just a reoccurring weekly weekend hockey pool for points and bragging rights - however many people pitch in is exactly what the pot will be, I'll set this up for free each week, and probably keep track of the winners each week.

50 points to buy in, originally I thought to have 3rd place get their 50 back then 2nd get 100 and 1st get rest of pot - but I don't think I can change the pay outs, if anyone know how to change pay outs let me know.

Usually it'll just be Friday Saturday Sunday, unless like opening week there no games on Saturday - must be football or something causing no hockey to be cancelled that day, who knows. I'll probably run this all year including playoffs.

Why this pool called CBC HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA? Because usually Saturday nights have most games and used to be CBC had monopoly on Saturday night hockey.

Actually HIGHER buy-in is better considering we have yet to reach 10, making this a winner-take-all every week. I am OK with the current 50 but would not even mind going bigger. I know my own NHL Weeklies are only 30, but those get around 20 entries so it's fine.

I have no problem keeping it 50, but if you choose to go higher, have to find happy balance where guys may not want to go higher but still be enough to make joining worthwhile. Maybe ask the regulars how high they are willing to go. Me I would personally go 100 but that may be too high for the others.

Ok, I don't mind going higher or lower either, I will ask everyone if 100 ok with them too - I already set up the 4th week for 50 again, but when I send out invitations I'll ask to see if anyone want to change it to 100 for next week and will post it in the thread too
