NFS hanco21 is the wild card with 16 and +1 right now with 3 games to go. With a +3 he'll tie you and he has more posts. I'm not sure about best bets it looks like 3rd place will be a race between the two of you unless you drop your NFL game then its anybodys Don Dollars included.

Don Dollars is the favorite, but 19 points will get you third. I have a shot if I can get 3 points this week. I already hit one game Iowa +9. I need my best bet Seattle +3.5 and either Mia +9 or SF +10.5. Not bad for a chick handicapper.

Not sure on the tie-breaker so I better go 3-0 today.

I will take that back NJS is now the favorite and all he has to do is win his Ten -3 game unless I win all my bets this week and I have not done that all year. Always good luck to everyone and happy new year.

where does it say that most best bets is the tiebraker? i belive i get 3rd place if i win all my games and the patriots beat the jags.but can someone confirm that is the tiebraker?

All ties for season ending grand prizes shall be broken by the most winners among the ‘best bets’ of the contestants involved in the tie. For example, if two contestants tie for the most points at the end of Week 17, with one contestant having 11 wins among their weekly ‘best bets’ and the other having 10 wins among their weekly ‘best bets,’ the contestant with 11 wins will be deemed the winner. In the event of a tie among their ‘best bets,’ the contestant with the most number of posts at SBR Forum as of the time of their Week 13 picks (02/03 Dec 2006) will be deemed the winner.

Lot of people have shot but I believe it will take 19 points to get third. I don't think 18 will make it. I like Tennessee today so that give NJS a great shot to win third. If I win all my games I will have 21 points which will be more than enough for third. NJS has only lost 3 Best Bets which means he will win the tie breaker. Anyways whatever happens its been a great year and been lots of fun. I am on my to qualcomm to watch San Diego Chargers destroy Arizona so we can win home field advantage. Happy New to everyone on SBR (besides slasher: he he) and go Chargers.

but my calculation i belive is correct. i need to win out and have pats win too. if i win out, then u lose your best bet and i would pass you. so i have a chance, need 5 games to go my way. like a free parlay

Is this also the tiebreaker for the booby prize? I could not find any separate tie breaker rule for the booby prize. I notice there is a chance Sportsfreak can tie me at -25 if he misses Philly -7.5 (which looks good for him) and Bears -2.5. He lost his first 2 picks. We both have 4 best bet wins for the season but I have more posts. I didn't make any picks this week since I could waste a week.

I'm trying to figure out whether I need to sweat the Bears game.
