I guess im learning that theres a strong possibility that they dont move lines after 10am the day of the game...meaning they probably pay attention to overnight moves and money placed earlier in the week.

Is there still enough sharp money line movement on the day during the game to make a difference or is it all square money line moves to balance out their books the day of?

I have pondered this same question in regards to our "government run" sports betting service "sports select" here in Manitoba Canada. Lines come out on the Wednesday for weekend games and lines don't move. I would like to do the research of what those games ended up that have changed 1 or more point from that time. Problem is that I cannot get the archived information of what the line was for this book at that time for previous years.

I guess a guy would be able to use opening lines v.s. closing lines as this book uses opening lines. Anyone done a research like this recently?

Youwager doesn't move on the market as muchas normal books...more on their own money. As their new internet business increase it would stand to reason they will have to change their bookmaking style.
