Future "Best of Think Tank" thread

The players here have offered a lot of great ideas, and I think we'll incorporate one of them: a "best of" thread so people can find the best content here quickly.

It will be stuck to the top.

It will be locked - only I will add to it.

If you would like your post (with link) in it, post your recommended thread here with a very brief explanation of what the thread contains. Assuming the thread warrants it, I will move it to the locked thread.

Indexes were indispensable. Until search engines made them outdated.

It's all here already. Just not in a linear way. Putting it at the top could get cluttered very fast. Why not add stars to each thread (1 to 5) to reflect its quality? That would make a search more effective. (especially if you could search for a topic and attach a minimum star rating).
