NBA 1st half totals vs. full game totals?
What is the value difference of ONE HALF POINT in NBA totals for 1st half only lines when compared to full game totals?

    Thanks in advance

I am sure Fish will get back to you Big Daddy after he finishes answering Durito's question about the change in Kelly on a bet when the line changes from -13 to -12.5.

In the meantime, do you remember back a few years NJ was always three to four points lower in the first half? Back when they had Kidd. Drove me nuts, but the linesmakers were correct, NJ was almost always under in the first half.

          Thanks

Still looking for a difinitive answer of some kind on this though.

Precisely, lets say, for a first half total of 95........how much is the half point worth in terms of cents, either to 95.5 or 94.5?

If I'm going to wager a NBA UNDER, I prefer to make a 1st half wager to avoid overtime. From my database, approximately 5% of all NBA games between 2002 and 2008 went to overtime. This year, 13 games out of 299 have gone to overtime.
