Racial Bias In NBA Spread Outcomes
Stumbled upon an article recently and thought it was very interesting. Results were taken from the '91-'05 season, quite a large sample size for statistical significance. Obviously, the information is hard to analyze for predictive purposes as it's very difficult to know whether a bias such as this continues to exist, but still, quite the read.

For all you lazy non-readers and/or people who hate anything to do with math, go down to page 18 for graphs, the most important graph being on page 18. It shows the relationship between racial composition of a team, racial composition of the refereeing crew, and the relationship of the two translated into an ATS record.

    Enjoy.

I am too illiterate to read this, but I do know that white teams are covering and winning machines at home since the dawn of time.

Interesting, but could have been juicier with fouls and overs/unders.

Agreed, that's the most conclusive finding I saw from this report.

Would you be interested in gathering this and also the 2006-08 results?
