    Jeremy Lin's Fantasy Value?
Now that the Knicks officially chose not to match the Rockets offer sheet what is his fantasy value for the upcoming season?

He should put up some decent numbers not having to share shots with Melo and Amare. Be interesting to see where Lin gets drafted on average in fantasy drafts in the fall.

His value rises up plenty due to the fact that now Rockets got no one else to carry them and it will pretty much be a bunch of no namers. Luis Scola amnestied, Lowry traded no other big names. As far as his value I think He is top 20 PG in the league maybe even top 15.He will be a regular 16-& or so guy early season maybe even 20-25 points some nights. I think he is a great buy low sell high potential and if he is available in the later rounds he is definitely worth a look. But he shouldn't be your first option at PG more of a good backup to have. But like I said I think he will start the year good and will slow down as the season progresses.

But lets remember, he is nothing more than just an average NBA player. He probably wont be starting for the Rockets after 25 games

with that contract he definitely will be starting. this was more of a bussiness decision for the rockets rather than baskettball decision. Lin will sell tickets, and bring up sales as well as draw asian sponsors, not to mention ratings. Lin will be the starting PG for sure and if they do not get Howard they will definitely add another inside scorer, they have tremendous cap space

ask in 4 months, wouldn't touch him, don't be a homer or lin lover, play to win, not to have Lin

I have a feeling he's just going to be one of those guys that is always hurt. Then his backers will blame that. Just a gut feeling

he's a bit of a wild card, could be a total bust or could put up real good numbers..my money is on the former.

Still not sure that Lin will sell more tickets. I live in Houston and no one really seems to give a damn. People are still scratching their heads with the amount that he is getting

Lots of cap space, but no one willingly chooses Houston to play.

I think he'll be a top 15 fantasy PG in Houston. If NYK kept him I'm not so sure he would have been a top 25 PG in fantasy.

Guy will be hurt all the time (ala Yao Ming) Not worth the risk. He will be lucky to play 40-50 games a year. Bust.

A dumb ass move by NY! Letting this guy get away over a difference of 5 million. NY hoops suck ass and the owner is an idiot! Just like Patrick Ewing could never beat Jordan and the Bulls, the Knicks will allways a 3rd or 4th best team at best.

I wouldn't be so quick to jump on Lin. Like his season end in NYK it will probably come down to a lot of hype.
