Vladislav Kolyachonok is back with the Coyotes after spending four games in the NHL earlier this season, and this time, he might have a better chance to stay around a while longer.
When the Coyotes traded Ilya Lyubushkin to the Toronto Maple Leafs last weekend, it opened up a roster spot for a defenseman. Kolyachonok got the callup from AHL Tucson on Monday, and practiced with the Coyotes on Tuesday.

If NHL players are taking part in the 2026 Winter Olympics, international hockey officials want to know sooner rather than later.
International Ice Hockey Federation president Luc Tardif said Thursday he is optimistic about reaching an agreement with the league, NHL Players' Association and IOC but he does not want to wait until the final year before the Games in Milan and Cortina to finalize it.
