pickup the slack he did, natural hat trick in the 2nd period of Sunday's game for Evander Kane

I listened to the STL home call on the radio, they were saying it looked like a good physical playoff hockey play. In other words, even they weren't blaming Kadri for a dirty hit.

NYR even odds protecting home ice down 2-0 doesn't look good for them.

Similar odds for both games tonight.

Will both road teams return home down 2-0 in series, or will one, or both, of them steal a game tonight?

Does anybody here have an explanation or theory on how these goalies couldn't stop a shot? I mean, it was as if most of the time something was wrong with their vision. More than players screening in front of the shots, maybe reflection of light in the arena? or what?

Yeah I took Florida thinking they'd get game 1 because they were looking for some revenge on their rivals on home ice but Tampa Bay showed the heart of a champion tonight. If they keep playing like this it's hard to envision a scenario where they don't at least make it to another Cup Finals.

Sucks that there were no playoff games today the NHL playoffs have been intense so far. Can't wait for round 2 to begin there should be some compelling matchups.

Leafs looked like they were playing a regular season game. They didn't look like a home ice game 7 team at all.

Ouch, lost oversized bet on the game, plus the two futures. Misread the situation, thought the Wild wouldn't be denied at least advancing to round 2. Ugh.

So for Friday night, I made a bet about 1/5 that size on Dallas to stay alive in Game 6. Looking at these home dogs, not sure about Pittsburgh or Washington and I think the betting world is more likely to play those tonight, especially Washington, and overlook Dallas.

Dallas very good home team (Calgary a good road team on the season, but they have been stifled quite a lot by Dallas the way these games have been played).

Goalie Jake Oettinger terrific home numbers this season.

Unlike Minnesota without playoff pedigree, Dallas has been in the wars most of the recent years.

I'm surprised the line is this high +140 to hold home. All that happened in Game 5 was the Flames won their home game, but it was tight and the scoring came in the 3rd period.

It seems this series is very due for Overtime, where anything could happen. So that's a bit scary... but I'd say avoid playing Calgary to win in Regulation time, if you're going to play them.
