I don't think I disagree, offense may run more efficiently with McCown. Unfortunately, defense may be one of the worst of all time.

Cleveland is the worst franchaise in NFL History. One playoff appearance since their inception in 1999 and that was a loss.

It's gonna help my FF team, drafted Barnidge who gave me zero pts yesterday, but luckily still won easily. I was thinking about having to make a trade, but think Barnidge will return to stud status with McCown back in. Browns gonna throwing alot, after the horrible start, Barnidge could end up being a Top 3 TE by season's end.

Things have not been good ever since Modell moved the team. He won with the Raven's with Browns players. But if you go back to the late 40's, 50's, 60's and 80's the Browns were the model franchise in the league. Too bad most of the people following back then are now dead.

Same thing happen to me he got me zero pts but won easily. I drafted Snead, Fuller as young WRs my WR are deep af.

I also think the Browns are better off with McCown. I find it interesting that the line moved from Browns +4.5 to +7.

It's part of the sunk-cost fallacy.

People who set the spread assume because their high-paid designated starter and former #2 overall pick is out, that the Browns are likelier to lose with McCown whom went undrafted and is the designated backup. But that is foolish thinking.

Thing is McCown is not a typical "backup" in that he would have been starting if the Browns had not invested so much in RG3. McCown is the better QB and he is familiar with the offense after starting last year.

** C is 1-7 when starting. His lone win is when he played the Ravens last year. Don't sleep on Mccown there is a reason why cowboys wanted him and Browns didn't let him go unless they paid a high price but don't get buried in the process.

McCown in his prime was good, but age concerns. According to the Browns RG3 outplayed him significantly in practice.

You just can't compete with what Hugh has to work with. Good coach, likeable guy was pissed when the Raiders ousted him. I watched these guys practice, they are bad!
