I beat myself with a dumb move. I start Baldwin every game then today I get cute and it's most likely going to cost me as I would have won already without my TE. Fuk me, I even tried to switch Baldwin back in right before this mornings kickoff but was too late. Barring C.J. going ape shit tonight congrads Astro. I will never live this one down

I just didn't like the matchup and the only reason he got that many targets was Lockett breaking his leg. Lockett was starting to get all the chunk plays in the offense. I figured Pats would put up big numbers, which they did, just everyone but Mitchell was in on it. Plus the 3 times Brady aired it out to him the Jets defenders drew penalties by grabbing him. I just out smarted myself. That's the reason I had to win 5 straight to make the playoffs in the first place because two weeks during the regular season I did the same thing with other players and lost because of it. You live, you learn.

Maybe I will get a Christmas miracle from C.J. a couple tds and 5 or 6 grabs and I am back in it. Who knows, I won't get to see much of it, have to go to a Christmas service in an hour.

Yes, you do. I've outsmarted myself a few times in finals and learned to stick with who got you there now. Granted, if I used Gates over Walker I'd have clinched by now.

Yahoo being pretty ballsy putting me as 100% to win with a half to go. Not likely, but not impossible he gets 23 points in a half. A couple touchdowns and catches.

Far more likely he gets that than Robert Kelley putting up a -11 last week when they only had me at 99% while I was up 10 and convick was out of players.

Good season, I know it sucks coming up short in the finals (I did last week in another league) but you definitely had a team good enough to win. You'll get them next year, especially if I'm in the other one and you're in this one.

I was just glad to be back in fantasy, this was my first time in a league in about 8 years. To be honest I had a hard time during the draft after the first few rounds because I didn't know much about the guys in the nfl that aren't house hold names. I am more of a college football guy so it was a learning experience this season. I drafted pretty well having that been the case.
I just wanted to say it was a great time chatting it up and being in this league with you men. Had an awesome time and won't be missing the sbr leagues from here on out. I forgot how much fun it makes the nfl and sundays.

If you follow baseball and want to try and dethrone me there we'll probably have another league in the spring. Fair warning, I'm much much better at baseball than football. Played since I was 10.

I was a huge baseball player, love the game, but threw my arm out when I was 15. Can't play catch for more than 5 minutes without my arm starting to hurt. I think I need that Tommy John surgery, physical therapy didn't help. That's why I turned my attention to golf. Even now, if it is a cold day and I go to hit a punch shot and catch it heavy, my arm will go numb for a minute or two. But ya, send me a message when you know. I would enjoy that, I love watching baseball, just haven't been able to play since that summer.

I haven't played since high school.

Fair warning about baseball tho, it has daily lineups. Half the league bailed last year because it was too much work. I don't find it difficult, you can set the lineups in advance which is what I did each week.

Haha yeah, some people were going hardcore early trying to play matchups daily so can get tiring. No real need to do that until playoff time, not like we're playing with a $10,000 buyin here.

It was a great year, guys. Glad this thread was so active, made it more entertaining (last year's League II only had 7 pages, 5 of which were all me). Glad no one got too annoyed by my shittalking (even if I did back it up). Hope you guys participate next year. Everyone have a Merry Christmas!
