BUF - QB Tyrod Taylor has shoulder injury

Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (shoulder) is dealing with a shoulder injury, and head coach Rex Ryan expects Taylor to be able to play in Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Watching Taylor at the end of the Monday night game was painful. It was clear that his shoulder was bothering him, but he was able to stay in the game and try to make a comeback. Watch his practice status during the week.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly may not return as head coach of the Eagles next year, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com. Schefter said momentum and signs seem to be piling up against a Kelly return to Philadelphia.

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 24, with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a torn medial collateral ligament. Free-agent QB Jimmy Clausen (Bears) was subsequently claimed.

A sad way for Flacco to end his 2015 season. The team will ease him back into action next year, and his status for the start of next season is up in the air at this time. Clausen worked with OC Marc Trestman last year when the two were with the Bears. He'll provide the team with valuable veteran depth behind new starter Matt Schaub.

DEN - QB Peyton Manning out at least two weeks

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning (foot, ribs) will miss at least the next two weeks as he continues to recover from a partially torn plantar fascia and a rib injury, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. Manning will still be able to participate in workouts and be a part of team meetings, but his foot will also be in a cast for at least a week.

Detroit Lions TE Eric Ebron said his recent struggles will end this week. Ebron did not catch a pass last week against the Oakland Raiders and has only totaled seven catches for 52 yards the last three weeks.

Ebron has plenty of natural talent, but he needs to start playing more consistently and produce. We have a feeling Ebron will always be the player remembered as "the guy taken instead of Odell Beckham" no matter how he does.

We'd like him to show better anticipation when leading receivers in the future.

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy already has more rushing yards in 2015 (610) than Buffalo's leading rusher, Seattle Seahawks RB Fred Jackson, did last year (525), and McCoy has only played in eight games this season.

DEN - Denver used more two-TE sets

The Denver Broncos used multiple tight end sets on 83.8% of their Week 11 plays with QB Brock Osweiler under center as opposed to using three-wide receiver sets 60% of the time with QB Peyton Manning playing. TE Vernon Davis was more involved as a result, and the Broncos ground game was successful.

Keep this in mind when considering Davis or Daniels for your fantasy lineup. Both are TE2s with upside in Week 12 against the Patriots.

DEN - QB Brock Osweiler has tall task

Denver Broncos QB Brock Osweiler took 52 of 69 offensive snaps in Week 11 under center, and he didn't turn the ball over once. He'll be facing a New England Patriots defense in Week 12 that has given up an NFL-low 182 points this year, and they are allowing just 14 points per game in their last four contests. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is 11-4 against rookie quarterbacks in his career.

That's great and all, but Osweiler is not a rookie. The fourth-year quarterback has been patiently waiting for his opportunity to start, and he looked good against the Bears last week. It will be a far greater challenge against the Patriots in Week 12. Osweiler was sacked five times against a Bears team who does not get after the passer regularly. He'll need to make quicker decisions against the Patriots.

He's no more than a QB3 this week and his value will go up and down while Manning is out.

He was red hot when he got hurt against Seattle and finished very strong at San Francisco last year in Week 17, so it might be worth waiting if you have a hedge.

Roberts has turned into a dangerous WR3/WR4 in a good pass offense. His speed and body control are making him a very tough matchup for nickel and dime corners while enhancing his quarterback's fantasy value.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller (rib) left the Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a rib injury. He finished with five receptions for 45 yards and he was targeted six times.

Miller was predictably targeted heavily early, but he never had a chance to get into the upper fantasy reaches for Week 12 because he left in the first half. Rookie Jesse James would be called on next week against the Colts if Miller can't go.

SEA - WR Doug Baldwin hauls in three TDs

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (ankle) posted six receptions for 145 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is the first Seahawks receivers with three touchdown receptions in a game since former WR Joey Galloway did it in 1997 against the Oakland Raiders.

Baldwin got away for a long score to salt the game away and found openings in the red zone earlier in the game to help the Seahawks keep up with Ben Roethlisberger. He's the closest thing this offense has to a #1 receiver, and his value should be up with Jimmy Graham likely out for the season.

Indianapolis Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns as the Colts defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 25-12, on Sunday, Nov. 29.

Hasselbeck was a technician, working the short and intermediate routes and mixing in more downfield passing as he riffed with T.Y. Indianapolis gets the Steelers defense next week while the reeling Falcons will get to take advantage of the good matchups against the Bucs.
