Everything I'm seeing & reading point to him being out again this weekend. So frustrating considering other players have done the same thing and gotten less suspensions if anything. Plus the public is against the NCAA on this and they're scared to death of this issue. Sack up UGA.

Georgia is applying for junior RB Todd Gurley's reinstatement on Wednesday, according to a school announcement.

"The NCAA and UGA have been working together on Gurley's situation, so UGA's request seems almost assured of being approved," beat writer Seth Emerson writes. If granted, Gurley will likely be eligible to play in meaningful game action immediately. In the announcement, Gurley accepted responsibility for the mistakes he made and added he's excited to return to the field. The running back has missed the last two contests during the investigation.
