Astros shut McHugh down for the season, he will not qualify to be ranked among league leaders with 154.2 innings, leaving him 7.1 innings short.

He finishes 11-9 with a 2.73 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and a 157/41 K/BB ratio.

terrible call, they have all offseason to let him rest. He qualifies and the Astros have the batting title, top 3 AL homer guy, and two pitchers with top 10 ERAs and possibly top 5. Future looking real, real bright.

Odd stat: after last night's W, Collin McHugh is 12-0 in 16 starts as an Astro in September games. He could get two more starts this month.
