Glad I was outbid for Ellington. It sucks having to wait it out to gamble on him for Monday.

why even say he's out? What advantage is there to gain? I'd do the same.

Don't quite get why people are so quick to be all over Dwyer. If he doesn't get a TD you're doomed. Better off with your other rb options probably

Ellington consulted with three foot/ankle specialists Friday and all agreed no surgery is needed at this time. Ellington then went out on Saturday and did enough in a limited practice for Arians to say he's optimistic his starting running back will suit up Monday. This could be a bit of gamesmanship to keep the Chargers guessing, or it could really be a true game-time call. "It's one of those things where every day when you wake up it could be different," Arians said. Top beat man Kent Somers said Ellington "has a significant injury. Looks like he's going to try to play through it."

Now Adam Schefter us saying he likely won't play. Should I go with Pierce vs Cinch or Decker vs Oak?

I would not play him in fantasy in Week 1 because even if he does somehow play, I'd want to see how he looks playing through the pain.

A lot of -2.5 on Arizona right now does not bode well for Ellington, although move can be fueled as much by speculation as by fact.

Cardinals working out Andre Ellington before kickoff, fantasy owners continue to wait.

Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington is still a major question mark for Monday night's game against the San Diego Chargers. Local radio personality MIke Jurecki says that the Cardinals are working out Ellington hours before kickoff, with a "heavy tape job" on his left foot. His final status likely won't be determined until just before kickoff.
Ellington suffered a foot injury in practice last week and was listed as questionable for the game. Initial reports suggested that he could miss four to six weeks, but he managed to get a limited practice in on Saturday. He remains a game-time decision.

Fantasy impact: The Chargers and Cardinals play the last game of Week 1, not kicking off until 10:20 p.m. ET. If you still have Ellington in your lineup, it's gut check time, and you hopefully picked up Jonathan Dwyer by now. Even if he's active, Ellington will probably be on a heavy snap limit and isn't an appealing RB2 play at far less than 100 percent.

I picked up dwyer as an Ellington owner and decided to start Bernard Pierce instead. Fukking guy benched after an early fumble and didn't return. What a dumb move by me.

I started Decker at flex over Ellington this week. I'm hoping Arizona rests him so he will be ready for week 2.

Andre Ellington (foot) is active for Monday night's Week 1 opener versus the Chargers.
Ellington will "play," but how much is what we don't know. It's very hard to see the Cardinals giving him a full workload and risking further injury. It's only Week 1; they don't need to rush their offensive centerpiece. Expect to see plenty of Jonathan Dwyer. Ellington is a risky FLEX play. Inactive for the Cardinals are FS Tyrann Mathieu (knee), QB Logan Thomas, LB Glenn Carson, LB Alex Okafor, OG Earl Watford, TE Darren Fells, and DE Kareem Martin. Sep 8 - 8:50 PM

active. But it doesnt loook like therll be much production. Source is rotoworld

My only choice is Ellington or Dwyer.

I think I am going to go with Dwyer.

As someone pointed out, the 4-6 weeks would have been if he had surgery, and the the three specialists he met with Friday agreed he did not require surgery. Still surprised Cards chanced it, especially with short week following Monday nighter.
