I need help with my fantasy.
It's a Yahoo draft, so I'm guessing people will follow that.

    I'm 11th.

    0.5 PPR
    1pt 40+ yard pass/run
    0.5 40+ rec
    1pt 40+ T.D.

I'm not used to PPR. Does this make a huge difference? I'm usually a R.B. type guy.

Was thinking of going Murray and L.Bell, but not sure if A.J. Green and Julio is better???

    39 Cobb, Thomas, Fitz, Jackson
46 Gronk?? Sankey, Vereen?? Patterson, Floyd (Lots of players I'm kind of clueless at)

67 Looks like I'm just missing Torrey and T.Y. .... *Tear. Kendall Wright???
74 Ray Rice, Golden Tate, Ridley, wallace, Trent
    95 Jason Witten, Randle, Sanders
    102 Thomas, Freeman

Dude, seems like there's a lot more players in every position. Usually I stock up on R.B.'s.

    Thoughts???

Draft the team you are happy with...if you are an RB guy and would be happier drafting RB's at the top then do so.

Since you have never played with PPR then make it simple for your first time and make PPR something you should focus on only with your #2RB, #3WR, and flex if you have it. for these three roster spots that additional few points each week could make your decision when considering who to draft. For example Kendall Wright catches a lot of balls but not a lot of TD's so his value is higher in a PPR league than in a traditional league. When considering the #3 WR spot and maybe even #2 in strong leagues Wright will have more value because of his receptions.

Murray and Bell had 66 receptions each last year...totaling 122...divided by 16 games is a little over 7.5 points per game from these two just for receptions. Green and Jones would get about 300 receptions for the year...divided by 16 games is 18.75 points per game from these two. so if you are just comparing these four guys it seems like Green and Jones would be better than double the RB tandem if you are just focusing on PPR. The real difference for you is not in these top flight guys but what you are getting in later rounds.

I'm going to stop rambling...but PPR shouldn't make or break your decision on any player unless you really understand it, just look at the difference in PPR between the guys you are considering and the replacement guys you would get if you didn't pick that player to find the most value for your picks.

Green and Julio do not get 300 receptions a year... Bad advice. Check the numbers again.

If you're a rb guy, take backs that catch passes. So guys like Murray McCoy forte all have a lot more value than Morris and lynch do.

What is the starting lineup like? How many WRs do you start? Is there a flex? Because WRs will probably have more value . If you're at 11 spot grab a Murray/ball and then take best available wr on your next pick. Rbs are scarce especially ppr backs , people will gobble them up . If you happen to miss out vereen/ bush/joique bell/Pierre Thomas even fred Jackson can be had later on in the draft

my bad I looked at targets...they get 200 receptions a year. But my point remains...look at the opportunity cost of selecting the player and not just the numbers

Most Yahoo leagues use 2 RB and 3 WR if your league is setup that way I'd go RB/WR rather than doubling up on either.

The league only gives out 0.5 ppr, but if the WR's have that much more receptions it's probably worth it. They both go at the same time.
I'm not concerned about the future of the draft. I just wanted to know max value out of them.

I just want to get max value. If those options are available...... What are best?
                It seems like there's a lot of r.b.'s... Usually I feels there's a shortage.

I love elite R.B.'s, but if I feel there's a shortage of WR then I should go with WR.

So Murray and Julio Jones or A.J. and Bell???

I'm guessing A.J. and Bell because if someone grabs Julio second round then I'm screwed with two RBs.

I'd go Murray over bell personally. There's injury concern with Murray but he'll catch tons of passes and doesn't have Blount stealing goal line carries.

Aj green or Julio, just take your pick based on personal preference
