Fun Baseball Fact - Andrew McCutchen
Irrelevant but fun fact nonetheless from the Elias Sports Bureau.

McCutchen's late homers tie, win game for Pirates

Andrew McCutchen led off the top of the ninth inning with a score-tying home run off Jonathan Broxton, and then connected for a game-winning solo shot off J.J. Hoover in the 11th inning of the Pirates' 6-5 win at Cincinnati. McCutchen is the first Pittsburgh player in franchise history to hit both game-tying and go-ahead homers in the ninth inning or later of the same game.

      good stuff

Big Pirate Fans here may remember back in 2004 Rob Mackowiak hit a walk off Grand Slam in the 9th inning in game 1 in a double header against the cubs

then in game two he hit a game tying HR in the 9th in a game they went on to win.

Rob's first born son also was born that day

Like it for Fantasy but more so hated it being against the Reds. Would take a an O-fer any day vs. Cincinnati.

That's pretty cool. Guy deserves a everything he gets. If he was a Yankee or RedSox he'd have the world swinging from his nuts.

You got that right brother. Too bad he plays in "Steel Town". The Red Sox would be putting up a statue. LOL.
