Agreed...problem is I think the Heat learned that even if they land Lowry they better have 3-4 others to help...that band of bozo's they had sitting on the bench were worthless. The Oden experiment blew up in their face, even Battier didn't chip in with a thimble of spit during the series. The Spurs even sent Bonner out there and got a few buckets out of that stiff...the Heat got nothing out of their stiffs...the Heat need a few stiffs that can offer something in their time of need. Lebron goes down with cramps someone needed to step in and help out for a few minutes, and no one did.

I don't know if Miami has any interest in Nelson, but he would be a nice pick up for them. The thing the Heat need from their point guard is the ability to hit an open three. Even though Chalmers faded in the playoffs, he was their leading three point shooter during the regular season. Since Lebron handles the ball so much, they don't need a point guard to run the offense. Instead they need a point guard who can shoot, and Nelson is a pretty good shooter. If they do sign him, they'll trade Norris Cole and go into next year with the veteran Nelson and the rookie Napier as his backup, seems like good situation for Miami. Of course this is assuming Miami has interest in nelson.
