Was offered Rice/Bowe for Moreno/Garcon, what do you guys think? I like the idea of trading Moreno right now with his value doing well, but I'm not sure what to expect out of Rice or Bowe going forward. Thoughts?

Assuming its PPR. Heres my take for what its worth. Rice has most upside of group and therefore it basically comes down to what you think he does going forward. Moreno..yeah, who knows how much longer he performs. I'm down on Bowe and while he may have a few big games he will also always be a risk for laying an egg. Barring he doesn't get hurt I think Garcon remains in the top 10 of WRs for remainder of year. Guy gets a ton of targets and Redskins will have to throw often. I guess it will depend on where your at currently with your team.

Thanks for the reply. It is not PPR, standard scoring so that probably takes a little of the shine off of Rice. Think Moreno stays the man through the rest of the year if healthy? I feel like Manning trusts him the most, although I have no real basis for thinking that.

Takes the shine off both Garcon and Rice a little. Garcon benefits because he gets a lot of targets. As far as Moreno, I just cant see him keeping the majority of carries all year. He will for the time being as he is the best blocker of the group so he will see the most time but who knows what 4 weeks down the road holds. Im not real familiar with value in non PPR leagues really but that looks like a tough one to decide.

I would take take the trade, gain more with Rice over Moreno than you may lose with Garcon vs. Bowe

Ya I'd gamble on Rice, assuming you have 2 RB's that you can start if Rice goes down

I like the Rice side still. Moreno has never done anything over a full season. I imagine second half he starts to lose carries to one of the other backs while Rice builds his stats back up.

Tough call. I think Moreno is a good sell high guy. I just think as the year goes on, Ball will improve. Rice is a great buy-low guy, the other day Harbough came out and said they want to get back to focusing their offense around Ray Rice. The only thing is that Garcon to Bowe is a huge drop off. Bowe is barely even worth a roster spot to be honest. Bowe has a low floor, and a pretty low ceiling. If you have another competent WR you can start ahead of Bowe, then I'd do the deal. Who are your other WR's?

Ended up making the trade, I'm not too high on Bowe, but I'm not really sure I trust Moreno all season.
